Lee, Vanatta, Pettis, Barbosa- these are all fights where Tony was getting lit up (dropped a total of 6 times). An entire months notice to prepare for another fighter is fine. He got taken down by Kevin Lee and yes he lost that fight but khabib is a way better grappler than Kevin and also often traps you in a position where you can’t really even attempt submissions off your back. Khabib used to have a lot of respect for Tony but like he said, it remains to be seen how Tony recovers after that severe beating he got from Gaethje. But until proven otherwise, Tony is a legit top-5 and there is no reason to think that Tony vs Khabib will be any different. Tony is amazing on his back so it wouldve been great to see how the game would've gone on the ground but sadly we never had the chance.

Watching this a year later, people were giving chandler shit when this video was first released because he was saying he can beat everyone in the division basically.
After time and seeing him three times in the octagon, he was telling the truth. Say what you will about results but every fight he’s had, his opponent has respected him because he put it on them and was very close to winning in the fights he lost. He’s fought Charles and Justin back to back. That is a really tough ask for anyone not to mention a guy who’s only been in the UFC for a year. Those two are probably the best in the division and chandler was inches away from winning both of those fights. I think Chandler has cemented himself as an elite lightweight and somebody who can beat anyone he’s put in there with, whether or not he gets the desired result, he has the capability.
