I love watching these Artists Alley videos to gain inspiration--I'm an artist myself and am starting work on my first graphic novel! I've always felt that my initial sketches were too "fuzzy" and "not structured enough," but I'm astounded to see that the great Jim Lee's pencil sketches look a lot like mine!! Great to see this video of an absolute legend do his stuff. :)
Hey SYFY Wire, thanks a ton for uploading these videos! A little suggestion though- it would be really nice if you guys listed the materials used by the artist in the video, so that hobbyists can get better-informed.
So, of course, he's going to draw his best Wonder Woman ever since he's being filmed, and this video will be on the Internets for 1000 years or more. I don't blame him.
1:26-1:33 someone teach this to Frank Miller again. Dude was a godsend before but now cant even do basic perspective drawings ala elementary school drawings
