i don't understand your comment regarding the plugin not creating samples that 'sound like' the original sample. I mean, isn't the point to get sounds that 'remind' you of the original sample, however, different enough to where you can use it in the same song/melody without it reminding you of the original sample? Know what i mean.? .. if that made any sense.
I agree! I prefer getting variations or something similar than something identical. The goal of this video was to throw as many types of samples as possible to see what it was good at recreating and what it wasn't. Not that it's a bad thing to be way off.
those „it‘s not perfect“ comments really seem to miss the point. also: playing a sound sample and then telling what it’s supposed to be fits in the same category of unnecessary. i‘m quite sure many people watching this clip actually do have ears.
Great video! Remember that you can always go into the DNA editor to tweak the sound you generate with Genopatch.

Perhaps take a “seed” and germinate it in the other part of the programme…
