When i first listened to cosmos, it sounded like a love song. But as i looked into the lyrics, i realized it was just one sided love, a love that doesnt expect anything in return. Hanbin has talked about love/relationship and showed hesitation bcus the idea of not being able to like everything about the significant other. I think it was on dive studio podcast. He said around the line 'if i got to know everything abt them, will i still be able to love them?' So in cosmos lyrics, 'plz live and breathe in my imagination like an intangible dept of unknown galaxies so i can love you forever' shows his takes on love. He doesn't want to own them. He just wants to love and admire that someone from very far away
hanbin is a musical chameleon. he owns any genre he explores. i hope you can also watch his concerts or fanmeets bc he is best when he performs on stage. (i especially like the one from rapbeat) 🤍
also, thank you for emphasizing that he's the executive producer! he's pretty much a perfectionist and literally everything in his discography (both from the group and his solo) is written, composed, and produced by him. and it's no wonder he became the songwriter of the year in 2018 for love scenario.

I see that you’re also a fan of blackpink. Fun fact: hanbin co-wrote Whistle. But sad thing is He’s actually credited as the main lyricist when it first went out but yg as always immediately discredited him and completely removed him from the credits on official platforms but they couldn’t on komca (korean music copyright association). He also only talked about how Teddy asked lyrics from him only once and never talked about it again. The only time he got credited again regarding the song is through BP’s documentary in Netflix under his real name Kim Hanbin.
