GO HERE: www.PhotoExtrem... In this studio photography tutorial, you will learn how to capture a photograph of a wineglass with a colored liquid flying out of it.
This is a fun project. I thought the same thing when I saw Gavin Hoey's video on how to do it almost A YEAR AGO. His set up wasn't nearly as complicated or convoluted either. Glad to see the money you made off your ebook(mine included) has allowed to you gear up so heavily. (That last bit was NOT meant to be sarcastic.)
I saw you on the first book.. U had ur pics.. U looked so young and looked like a kid who just made a book.. Now look at you :p u look so much as a professional now! Good to see you alive and well, also i hope that u be a successful photographer coz u so talented
This is one of the best tutorials I've ever seen, on any subject! You're an excellent teacher, you assume we know nothing and explain things very well. Maybe went into the specific flash controls a bit too much, since we are likely to have different strobes. But great tutorial!
Finally, a very detailed tutorial. I'm a newbie at Photography and this made me understand things clearly. Thanks for this wonderful tutorial. Subscribed :D
Thank you, you make it all look so easy and I'm sure it's not I'm just starting out with my first real camera can't wait to try something like that thanks again. Paul
Welcome back Evan. The tutorial is great .... really, very interesting. For some reason though I can see that your style is changing, it looks like you have found the "super bonus" powerup and extracted all those great pieces of kit (lights, gels, more flashy lights, etc). I used to like your videos and tutorials because everything you did was so accessible by everyone; anyone has tripod, a torch, some wirewool is easy to get, and many more house-hold items. Now those big stobes and pocket wiz are not cheap and not everyone can buy one. I hope you won't use expensive stuff in your tutorials too often. I hope you get my point. Keep up the good work!
I don't see the issue here - its the technique that's important, not the equipment. Evan explicitly goes out of his way to explain how you achieve the same result with cheaper equipment (use PC sync cord if you can't afford a radio trigger, use speedlight flash if you can't afford a studio strobe).
sick. i wanted to ask you about the triangle lighting picture you have with the leaves and the one with the door glowing. its not on the ebook. welcome back tho.
Very cool! I am using speedlights now, but meh not having good luck I can't really freeze the action. Maybe I should get Einsteins? not sure. i.e. a plug in type professional light?
Hey there I am just learning photography. I would really like to know how did you create this amazing curve shape of the water ? Please can you answer ???
Sweeeeeet, I have to do a splash at school today for product photography, didn't really like any of the ideas I saw before, this is amazing and so easy :) I might even dear to try to make in in large format

Long time stranger. Welcome back. Nice tutorial.
Nice Technics. I am going to enjoy this.
great video !
I prefer the image on the right because the escaping of the liquid is contradictory to the perfect verticality of the glass

Hey there I am just learning photography. I would really like to know how did you create this amazing curve shape of the water ?

Also curious, what would be the difference with just going with the Paul C Buff cyber commander instead of the current Pocket Wizard setup.

Thank you Evan, brilliant. What happened to your book?
Excellent! Well done!!
I would like to know more about lines and what they symbolize.
What did you mean at 12:51 ? did you mean masking out the table in Photoshop, or actually shooting the glass between the table and background?
Awesome! Im gonna try this in my free time. Thanks for the tutorial!
