This has been a throughly enjoyable story. I very much like the exchange of letters as the major part of the the story telling, with interruption byThe characters. I also appreciated the assemble that presented it all. Very well done. Very refreshing. Bravo!
This is Magnificent! I've not ever wanted to listen over again to a JAFF story once I completed it, yet I immediately replayed this sparkling and unique jewel - it is THAT good! Its pace is snappy and there are very many pleasant thoughts and feelings to be experienced in the heart and mind of the reader for the duration of the gorgeous narration(s) and beyond. This even followed me into my dreams. Thank you.💖
Here I go again...well, I love the letters with their witty humor! The more I listen, the more I remember, and find myself laughing out loud! It's like when you remember all the funny parts of a movie and relive that moment. I guess it's because I know the characters so well and picture them saying the lines. It's pure fun when a certain character says ' I'm a reasonable woman ' ..... 😊
"i never knew he had so many teeth, for they all have been on display" Pride & Prejudice with a medical twist and through letters and journals and diaries
I love the way this is written. Each character comes through greatly. Humourous, heart touching and just good. On my 3rd or 4th listen. Love it! Lady Catherine and Richard, great! All are great characters.
The characters are all very well written and I've come to love them. Their personalities come alive very pleasantly. The story unfolds with the reading of each letter. Excellently told! Georgiana and that miserable dog Harold, their relationship could be a short story on its own. Thank you for sharing!!!
Very interesting variation of Pride and Prejudice. Really shows how writing letters were the main method of communication in those times. The revelation of how Mr Darcy was so dangerously injured certainly showed his character... protecting and defending those he loved. Enjoyed the narrators too. Thanks for sharing! Best wishes from northern Illinois USA.
Wow!! Such a unique way of doing a story! Love the variety of voices, they all read so well. Just one little slip I caught but no biggie. I LOVED the story as well! Wonderful all around.
As always, thank you so very much for sharing your stories here in this format. They are indeed such a gift. It's only been about two years since this book came out, which is probably the last time I read it. I had forgotten so much it was like listening to a new story, but at any rate listening to the story with the multiple narrators was significantly different. It has now risen from 'Yes, that's a good one but I have other favorites of hers I'll reread or repeat listen over and over before choosing that one--to--Oh yes, I love that, I want to hear it again.!' ❤
Ridiculously enchanting. Full-fills all the original story and adds more! Author did a really good job writing and the readers did quality reading. Well done to everyone who worked on it. Your listening audience appreciates it. Can you do Emma next?
I love this format! Can't help but think of Dracula while listening to this. The story is absolutely delightful. I really like the voice of the reader for Georgiana. I wonder if she has done other readings. 🤔
Good story! Interesting format which I would probably appreciate more in written form. Without the dates to look back on it is challenging to keep track of events and their significance. Still I did enjoy it and the full cast of voice acting that presented it. Thank you for sharing.
I love this story!!! I do not know if I have commented on this one yet, but I’m too exited to stop. This is the first p&p variation story, where I really feel that Darcy and Elisabeth are true soulmates. Through the writing of those letters from this people in particular you can see it most clearly and it’s simply perfect. They are made for each other! And the different perspectives are very diverting and amusing! I have listened to this one approximately ten times perhaps more and it’s every time even better than the time before. It’s amusing too, there are a few running gags afoot. Definitely a must listen for all P&P fans!!! Spoilers are following!!! The pillow for the dog😂 The dogs in general!!! The continued ironic references to ms bingleys bad temper😂 Jane and Mr Bennett’s running gag😜 Lizzys writing her acceptance of Darcy’s apology on 13th October and Darcy writing his acceptance of Bingleys invitation to Netherfield on 14th October 😂 Georgiana’s plees my foot 😂😂😂😇😇 The “proposal “ was special and the letters about it😂 Etc… Thanks for uploading!
Truly one of the best books I’ve read this year! And I read a lot! (4-5 Bob/week). I give it a 6 on a scale of 1-5. Epistolary novels are quite tricky to write well but the author nailed it.

Bellissimo, finalmente uno sguardo diverso, senza strapazzare i personaggi, tenereli nella giusta atmosfera "Austiniana".grazie ❤❤
Darcy: I pity the man nearly as much as he pities himself ....😅😂🤣 yes, I'm listening again lol

More people back then probably died from the "physician's care" then the original accident.
What a beautiful entertaining story! ❤
You are so kind!
