They are definitely two of our favorites!!
I never saw the bird as growth but as happiness (I've always known blue birds to represent happiness)
I love the way the mv shows what they are talking about during the group therapy by transporting them to that field and having the story play out in the center of the therapy circle in Eunhyuk's case and showing Donghae looking around for someone who's not there. In the end they learn how to let go of the hurt and forgive leaving them free to chase their happiness once again.

Many of D&E songs are fun and catchy, the best offenders would be Oppa Oppa and Can you feel it, those were like their humble beginnings, and since then they have evolve to give us something like Rose, but that's not where they started, maybe one day if you have time you can check their 10th anniversary medley, the last part explains why sometimes we call them ketchup and mustard 🤣🤣

If that's what he ment, then, because of the country he live in, it's really brave! but it doesn't surprise me, not because of the implications, but because he's already awesome! he's really an angel!
Just like Heechul not wanting to deny the rumors about him, because he's confident about who he is and they were not saying anything he could think as insulting, I thought that was also a great way to be an ally 💙

@@aligensa I know but I don't like to put words he didn't said. It's not that I don't accept whatever he wants to do, I just think it's risky to affirm something like that because if afterwards he sais that's not what he ment he could get a lot of backlash, so better to be safe than sorry 💙

I hope you guys can look up the lyrics if the MV doesn’t provide it so that you won’t be so clueless about the songs and only depend on what’s happening in the mv.. cause the lyrics are beautiful
Thanks for sharing! Normally, English subtitles are included in the MV, so we have a better idea of what the lyrics are. But we will keep this in mind for the future.
The whole title "controversy" was a bit sad to watch. It seems the word is highly contextual, and netizens reacted without waiting to see how it was actually used in the song. Frustrating for the artists to have their first ODE title track promotion derailed (it met all the censor requirements for music shows but they canceled them anyway to be respectful of loudly voiced concerns by a few fans), but I have to say I am proud that have handled it so gracefully. They have since recorded a version with an alternate chorus (not quite as catchy but still good) so that fans can choose which version they prefer. Almost all the Korean comments I have seen to the original song seem to find the lyrics inoffensive considering the context, but I do appreciate that D&E went above and beyond to shut down any further drama.
Thank you for your comment! We are not netizens, but we agree. The meaning of a word often changes over time. We are not undermining the feelings of those who have been offended by the title, we were just not as affected by it because it was never a part of our slang. We applaud D&E for taking the concerns of their fans seriously.
@@hallyureviewsus That's something I love and respect about SJ, they really listen, they are always polite and considerate, and they encourage us to be the same. They say that they represent us, but we also represent them, and that's a responsibility many elfs follow 💙
