Is it real mold or just the anti clumping stuff they toss it with? I’ve always assumed it’s not mold because mold doesn’t just dissolve. And because the people who drink that don’t report ill-effects.
the pot roast was always mushy i always liked the roast it was an actual chunk of meat reminds me of my deployment to Afghanistan we were working with the brits and by a twist of fate the captain one of the LTs and a sergeant had birthdays on the same day a Sunday in an off hand comment to my LT the capt said he wished he could have a Sunday roast that week everyone was eating American MREs so my LT and the capts assistant hatched a plan and they looted enough roast to feed everyone 1 for dinner like 125 guys my LT had a little celebration for the captain and we all ate together which is something the brits dont normally do sit in a group and eat enlisted and officer but it was a good time all in all
I enlisted in 2005 I remember this MRE it was pretty good back then especially when you haven't eaten for a while and you're stuck out on patrol

Tip if you put salt in the FRH. it will heat up better. but by all means if you wana boil a pot of water you can.
