The adjustment to daily Gamescast has been such a game changer for me. Preferring Gamescast to Games Daily, I was often waiting a week for the episode only for it to be a review/preview about something I’m not into, then skipping for weeks at a time. Now not only do I have way more episode I’m into to listen too, it’s made Kinda Funny apart of my daily routine again.
I know it’s asking a lot, but I’d love to see the Gamecast intro updated to include Mike, Parris ect.. and have variations where the intro reflects the line-up.
I love how anytime a Barret topic comes up he doesn't just pop himself up when he goes to speak but he'll put his camera on and then just sit there waiting for his turn. I feel like I'm waiting with him whenever it happens lol
Depends what the topic is. Love when he’s knowledgeable about something like Persona, but get annoyed when he just pops in to crap on the hosts’ excitement/optimism.
Banjo Kazooie > Spyro > Crash I love all those franchises though. Original Banjo Kazooie is probably my favorite of the bunch. Crash 4 was incredible though. If we got Spyro 4 or a Banjo game made similarly I'd be so happy.
13:54 Sarah Bond confirmed on Twitter right after the 2022 presentation that Silksong was indeed covered by that statement and would come out within the next 12 months. Team Cherry also confirmed it indirectly by not denying anything until 11 months later when they officially announced the delay.
Was a shame not to hear Blade Runner 2033 mentioned, we haven't heard a single thing since it was announced and it's the biggest game from Annapurna's in house development team.
A good build in the base game will still struggle in the dlc. The first boss I met basically brushed off most of my attacks, and he wasn’t even a main boss haha.
After the Xbox showcase, where they said every game you see will release withing the next 12 months, someone actually asked the official Xbox Twitter account, if that means, Silksong is also releasing withing that time, and the official Xbox account answered with "yes". So they officially confirmed that. A year later, Team Cherry themselves tweeted that they have to delay the release because they need more time. My fear is, that their ambitions grew too big. To be honest, I just want them to finish it instead of continiously adding new stuff or whatever (that's exactly why Star Citizen is still not out).
Ubisoft recently put out a Job listing to essentially hire someone to give Far Cry 7 a 3rd person option so it's probably gonna b a bit until it gets revealed.
The biggest hole in Microsoft's catalog, even on gamepass is family-friendly games like Banjo and Spyro, which is why it was so weird when they got rid of Toys for Bob.
I get Silksong is taking longer than expected, and I love HK. Love it. They have to give us something. Team Cherry needs to do something. Theres been nothing in two years.
A few games I thought about after this episode: DokeV - First seen 2019 / Last seen 2021 Lost Soul Aside - First seen 2016 / Last seen 2023 Little Devil Inside - First seen 2015 / Last seen - 2024 (Kickstarter update)
SQEX pretty much confirmed in their big multiplatform news that Kingdom Hearts IV is still years away, reaffirming that they announced it WAY too early Again!
In my heart of hearts, I want to dislike this comment. But thank you for spreading this information. I will now slink away under the Shadow Of The Erdtree.
Im for adding berret to the panel, he's the most educated, hes wasted being behind the camera. Put bless in the camera operation i think hed be better at that.
My wild thought is because the Yen is so weak against the dollar, we won’t see Switch 2 until that begins to turn around. For me, that’s Fall 2025 at the very earliest and maybe not til March 2026.
@@FutureTrunks1337 Yeah it's a decent game but the way people talk about it you'd think it's GTA or Red Dead lol. It wasn't anywhere near as good Ori & The Blind Forest to me but people don't talk about that series in the same way.

lol exactly. I tune out the others at that point because I’m excited to hear what he has to say

Banjo is irrelevant

Silk Song is joining the club with Beyond Good and Evil 2 and The Last Night
Like Tim , I don’t know when the jokes end with them two 🤣🤣
Remember Bluepoint? They're back! In Pog form!
Silksong is the modern day Last Guardian at this point.
Mike calling Riku Ricky and also calling Kairi in the same inflection as Kyrie Irving sent me
Love this as an episode topic
One of my favorite performances was the 20 years of MTV, where you played with Tommy Lee and Rob Halford. I would love to see that one recreated.
57:37 I feel bad for causing this lmao. And to correct myself, he said “towards the end of the year” rather than September specifically
for whoevers wondering, I forgive you 😅
The solstice was on Thursday, not Friday, but I know I'm the only one who cares. Great episode!
Friendly reminder that Team Cherry is literally 3 people. Silksong could take decades and I'd still be impressed with it
I think Spyro 4 is probably close, then maybe they go Banjo or Banjo Remake after?
Guessing next year Ubi will be focusing on DLC for it's 2024 games

Every single time y'all bring up Kingdom Hearts, y'all forget that development was restarted in 2014 to change game engines

You missed a huge one, Star Wars Eclipse. Where the hell is that at?

Mike so in his bag he beats 6 Hr games in 3 hrs. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Is Mike’s sekiro playthrough on vod? I need to watch it all!

Insomniac's venom game will launch alongside the PS5 pro. Calling it now
What is that drink tims always drinking??
Ratchet & Clank > Crash > Spyro > Gex > Jak & Daxter > Sly > Nuts n Bolts > Croc > Tomba > Banjo Kazooie
Oops, forgot Mario.
Stick it after Sly, I guess.
I'm sure we'll see splinter cell next year for a 2025 release
I love that Blessing lives in his own world where Banjo is more popular and better than Spyro lmao.
Bless his heart.
Popular is debatable but banjo certainly has had higher highs than spyro in terms of quality
Different scale but i want to know where Witchbrook is....
The last far cry I enjoyed was 3.
Division 3 for late 2025 for Ubi
Snow bike mike fire tee bruh
Andy the true freaks are the ones who don't like KH
That's exactly what I thought when he said that
Ken Levine wasn't involved with the development of Bioshock 2....
Silksong is a 2026 release at best

Where is Kingdom hearts 2 Mike??
Who matching m KH Freak lol
Me. It’s my no 1 franchise. Grandma bought it for me back in 2005 right before she passed away, and it’s had a hold on me ever since.
Im for adding berret to the panel, he's the most educated, hes wasted being behind the camera. Put bless in the camera operation i think hed be better at that.
Mike mispronouncing Riku and Kairi 😖

This is KFG Vol. 3, Episode 38 (Episode 522 overall)
Hollow Knight might be the most overrated game ever made, I don't get why it's held in such insanely high regard.
It's ok, everyone can be wrong sometimes.
It was the first indie metroidvania that really caught fire at the time because of its polish. It’s nothing crazy but it’s a solid game.

@@RayzaNC I agree they’re on different levels.
Agreed! It’s probably the reason it’s never had a release date. Developers know they can never live up to the hype it’s got for some reason.
Andy sucks
Did I miss something? I thought there was going to be an Elden ring stream 🥲
Live right now on Twitch, the recording will be up on TH-cam soon after.
