I wont be buying one of these until they can take a standard razor blade, then I'd happily pay the £70 or £80 cost for one.
Very interesting video. Do you think the cutter would be ok for cutting matchstick. Although they are softwood they can be quite hard?

Holy shit is that miter cutter a rippoff. It's over three times the cost of the original Chopper from NorthWest Shoreline.

Just got mine today in the mail... It makes a world of difference for cutting plastic strip.. exact, clean cuts every time.. I wish I had bought it long ago!
Can you use standard single edge blades in it? Or does it take proprietary blades?
I'm not 100% sure.. but the blades look bespoke for it... I bought it from Hobbyeasy in Hong kong and they sell extra blades for it.

This is not a precision tool, does not cut straight (square) even at small thicknesses
material (1mm for egz), because V shape blade.

@Dewey Rayburn No. 0.5mm deviation when you cut 1mm rod, no need microscope. For a tool who claim precision, is a lot.

Looks good. The only downside I can see is the cost of replacement of blades.
I have one and the blades here in Australia I buy from bna model world I pay $10.95 for 5 blades they last awhile depends on how hard the material is

Can standard cutter blades / razor blades be adapted for use with the RP CUTTER, indstead of the official (and expensive) ones?
Looks like any standard single edge razor utility blade would fit.
