HBell Agree with Nationwide after having to cancel our honeymoon due to spinal decompression.They covered us so quickly. My Seabourn went to your islands 8 years ago and Antigua rained all morning but then burst into the best day. We hired and island tour which was brilliant but the car lost a wing mirror and drove on. Giggled at joke out loud. Glad all was good I guessed you had gone not because I could tell, but you had said Nov and time is running out! I just knew. Making up for lost breaks we are off to Cape Verdi. It’s his birthday last year we sailed around Gold Coast so this time it’s a Catamaran trip. What next year? Look forward to hearing more.I’ve only just received Barclays travel back from another holiday I couldn’t make due to hospital back in May!,, that is a long time to wait. It’s always a worry when you’re so far away if you might have to be hospitalised etc and having to be flown home. We’ve done so many Caribbean cruises that we’ve decided not to do anymore long ones now. Glad you enjoyed it

I live in a safe community but I have a burglar alarm and feel safe having it. We had it in our former home and it was portable so we just moved it over to the condo. Now that I’m a widow I do feel safer at night or when I go out. It’s nice to have a smaller group of people on the ship. We took a Viking River Cruise in France for our 50th Anniversary and enjoyed it more than a large ship cruise because there were less people aboard. I also liked that the morning outing was a walking tour of a city then after lunch onboard the riverboat, we went on an a bus for the afternoon cruise. We’re all hopeful that inflation will subside now that President Trump has been elected. So please come back in another year or so.

Yes there are a lot of comedians in Belfast! 😅 My brother in law always manages to catch me when I've just taken a sip of tea or something and leaves me spluttering! It’s always a worry when you’re so far away if you might have to be hospitalised etc and having to be flown home. We’ve done so many Caribbean cruises that we’ve decided not to do anymore long ones now. Glad you enjoyed it

Glad you had a good time despite the weather being changeable love Virgin Gorda it’s fun . So glad Rob was ok must have been very scary for you both especially when it was a sea day. It’s terrible really the way things have changed. I remember as a kid we used to keep a spare key hanging in the outside loo or even the back door open ! These days when we go away we have lights coming on in different rooms at different times , alarm on , window locks , the place is like Fort Knocks . Looking forward to the next episode. X

The insurance came down, once he wasn't awaiting treatment. All down to the computer. We did have to pay extra but it wasn't prohibitive xx
I have wonderful memories of the Virgin Gorda rocks (baths)...so beautiful. I was there in the 1960's. Glad Williams shared his island with you.

Our friends have lived in the Caribbean since they went on a two year contract in the mid 1960s but stayed on, moved to various islands and eventually retired on the tiny island of Anguilla. Fabulous memories🌞🌹🍀

Yes, it is a worry, but he's been so well, it was a surprise to be honest. But I guess you never know xx
@ Perhaps the travelling might have been a bit too much for Rob. I know my husband tires easily if he pushes himself too much.xx
I live in a safe community but I have a burglar alarm and feel safe having it. We had it in our former home and it was portable so we just moved it over to the condo. Now that I’m a widow I do feel safer at night or when I go out. It’s nice to have a smaller group of people on the ship. We took a Viking River Cruise in France for our 50th Anniversary and enjoyed it more than a large ship cruise because there were less people aboard. I also liked that the morning outing was a walking tour of a city then after lunch onboard the riverboat, we went on an a bus for the afternoon cruise. We’re all hopeful that inflation will subside now that President Trump has been elected. So please come back in another year or so.
