I like how unlike the 800 other photoshop tutorials this guy actually knows what hes doing. Everyone else is like "use this, idk why it works but it looks pretty cool"

Hi Gavin, Many thanks for sharing this tutorial for an Out of Bounds effect. I have seen plenty of complicated tuts on this subject and dropped each one; you presented this subject like your other tutorials, straight forward and uncomplicated and I have been able to follow the steps in PSE12 with no problem. Brilliant!

@Eddiefry deleting the mud from the window grates, shouldn't take you more than 10 seconds with the correct eraser option set. From memory, I think it is the second option - Delete Background Color" or something similar and set the color to remove to be the same as the mud, then make sure the settings are set to ignore other colors in the way, then use a big big brush and go for it.
