Dear Mike, thank you for telling your story in so much detail. I cannot imagine what you went through but I know it’s hard. My father has been battling melanoma for 4 years. He’s at stage 4 right now and starting BRAFTOVI and MEKTOVI today because his previous IV treatment (OPDIVO & YERVOY) unfortunately did not help. So I thank you for giving me a little bit of hope that BRAKTOVI will work. I am really happy you are in remission after such a long battle. God bless you
Thank you so much for your story Mike. I am in my 70es (female) and had 2 melanomas removed in 2017 with both of them being melanoma Insitu, I got lucky. Well this past Tuesday I had another biopsy on my leg because the spot looked suspicious to me, I am still waiting for my test results but from the way this tiny spot looked, it could be another melanoma. I was told at MD Anderson in Houston that since I already had 2 melanomas I would be getting more and it is not a matter of if, but when, that was in 2017. So now here we are 5 years out from those two melanomas I had removed and I will find out soon I hope if this spot was positive or not. I am so happy for you and that you are in compleate remission! God bless and keep you! 😊🙏
Thank you for watching! There are several great organizations in the USA. Some include Melanoma Research Foundation, Melanoma Research Alliance, AIM at Melanoma, and the American Melanoma Foundation.
My youngest brother is taking Braftovi and Mektovi and is suffering from every side affect does anyone know or found something that helped them with the side effects?
❤❤❤

It would be best to speak with their doctor, pharmacist or nurse about their side effects so they can help you manage them.
