Wish i could start learning how to really drift but its pretty hard with a e36 316 compact even though i have a m3 diff, i have the cicles/donuts down but its hard to transition with the 103 stock horsepower :(

What’s the essential mods/tuning you need to get the feeling of the car feeling…better? Control arms, rough alignment and diff settings etc
Really just seat time and try to find somewhere open so you don’t crash. But you will need an lsd or welded diff. Then make sure your suspension isn’t too boaty
Welded diff, coilovers and ideally some extended control arms + knuckles or rack spacers if LCA's are too much

bare minimum an lsd or welded diff, you dont need other parts it all comes down to seat time then once youve felt like youve hit the limit then you should invest in some otherparts
seat time seat time seat time, maintenance before mods. get your car running right, a good seat is key, and practice practice practice. You'll know when you're ready for better parts
Gotta teach me. Been practicing with the e36 at domestic having a blast. Need better spots tho.
Any recommendations on the best public lots to practice that tend to be free of potholes and won't get the cops called on me?

yo hoon, what would you prefer for a low hp car, (daily driver) to weld the diff. 100% or less asking for a school project

drifting is illegal on public property including public roads. if it’s on authorized private property is perfectly legal. i think they were probably just in a parking lot at an office job or something and they’re not there because of the weekend

Ya'll are living the live in the USA over there bro. So young and already driving BMWs and shit. How is that even possible. Here in Europe, we get cheap trashboxes as first cars. Not even cool or interesting hot hatches, but genuinely boring, horrendous shit. I feel betrayed.
