Imagine just finding a cozy corner in one of these places (probably by a window looking out to the city) and just relaxing and reading and basically going to your own little world where you listen to music while you study and take a break and read as you look out the window as the sun gently streams through the window.

In the first one only one layer on the ground is full with real books. The others are all fake
It's not a library; it's a tourist spot. The books are fake and the few books they have are mostly just government approved books.

If I was ever rich this is what I would do:
Build a gigantic library that’s a huge circle. And get HUGE ladders that have wheels at the bottom so they can move around the circle. And these ladders cannot go all the way around the circle because I will have multiple and each can go a little way around so multiple people can look for books at the same time. And instead of a floor at the bottom, I would do a foam pit (I thought a trampoline at first but the ladders are gonna be tall enough that if people fell from a certain point they would probably die and we can’t have a haunted library now *can we*) and of course I would have them sign a waver before then enter, wouldn’t want to get sued. Also when people are reading they could sit in the middle of the foam pit so they wouldn’t get hit by people jumping down.
So people who dreams, will never rich. So.....
That sounds hilarious, I love it. Though even if you sit in the middle you'll still get hit by falling people and books. I'd recommend having floors for sitting outside the pit.

Libraries as tourist attraction other than historical and natural abundance in one's country 💕 it's even better than gaudy shopping complexes to me. Of course food travel as well. Hope one day I can venture to these places.
I was expecting the Gheorghe Asachi library in Romania to make it to the list. I’m definetely surprised it didn’t. Can’t say I’m disappointed though, those European libraries are absolutely another world 🌞

Also, the Starfield library does not belong on this list IMO. Most of the books are fake - just covers - and you can't check anything out. Visually stunning, sure, but how can a library be considered one of the best if you can't even borrow a book?!

Oodi is a pretty cool place. It's not just books but sewing machines, a recording studio, gaming rooms with PS5s, 3D printers, cooking courses for young adults... Most of it free, just requiring an online reservation. It's really thought of as a living space, less as a library, to be honest.

Starfield Library in Seoul, Korea is awesome!!! I love reading some books to relax after shopping in the mall; coex is the biggest underground mall in Asia!!!
