Balderich, the old man with the golden armour is in the game as a skin for Reinhart. Plus, his armour can be seen on the throne at the end of the Eichenwald map.

"Orisa" in this short, is the first time we see that kind of robot, called OR14, then they were destroyed, and Numbani repurposed them, to protect the city, and called them OR15, but they were destroyed by Doomfist, so a VERY smart little girl, took them and made Orisa... and yes that was a bunch of Bastions... EDIT: the dead Crusader dying in the chair, is still sitting there in the game, when u play on the map...

Are there any Overwatch comics? I’d love to learn more about the lore. Also an army of Bastions in any capacity is terrifying

"this crackhead does not have a helmet on" sent me hahahah
This is one of my faves! As sad as Mei's cinematic is I find this one way harsher. Mei was alive by chance, but Reinhardt's actions literally caused death.
BTW a Crusader's tomb is his armour. Balderich absolutely was left in his armour and he won't be removed as per tradition.

Ahhh I didn’t know that about the armor. I think I like Reinhardt’s character the most. He’s got a voice line with Ana where she asks why he answered the call and he says something along the lines of “if I don’t answer, what do I have left.” I think a part of it is the duty that feels as a member of overwatch and a Crusader but a big part is how he deals with his guilt. It’d be cool to see a cinematic where he comes to terms with it and we see him fight solely for his friends and the rest of the world.
