Here you can clearly see that Sarah's kiss was truly magical and get her Chuck back. So, I guess the same happens to Sarah when Chuck kisses her at the beach.
I was just thinking the same thing, also his intersect was supressed just like Sarahs and he eventually gets it unsurpressed, also the deagle used by morgan in this episode was nodded at in the finale when chuck uses it and eventually shoot down the heli.
I think a part of the reason for Chuck's complete recovery is the nature of his brain, it is more Intersect compatible than others. In Sarah's case I'm guessing that she would probably feel how the kiss feels natural & right, then over time get back some more memories & more importantly feelings. One possible solution to Sarah's memory problem could be Chuck, Ellie & Mary working together to build an Intersect program to repair Sarah's memories (maybe they can contact Hartley & get him to help as well).

Having watched it again and again, I see how he survived the lobotomy attempt. He viewed the intersect when he was a kid. His brain was always more advanced than everyone else’s. that’s what I think anyway. We want a Chuck movie. !!!!!
I love this scene, but I actually like the scene in season 2 more. The end of the episode when Sarah and Casey watch Chuck's car explode, thinking that he's inside of it. Every part of that scene is so intense, and the shock on their faces when he's actually alive, coupled with his surprise that they cared so much makes it by far the best scene in the series for me. Still, I love this episode. Chuck is such a great show.
This episode shows how terrifying Sarah could be. Casey and Morgan were able to find her in Thailand just by following stories of what she’d done. Even an entire camp of armed guards that are seemingly cut off from the rest of the country heard the stories, and they bolted when just her head appeared out of the water.
Favourite moment and favourite episode of the entire series! This is what Chuck was all about and the Chuck and Sarah love story was epic and the heart and soul of the show.
You guys are missing the point. This was the perfect ending, and I'll tell you why. The fact that Sarah said "kiss me" proves that it doesn't matter whether or not she remembers. She WANTS to remember. If she doesn't remember, then she gets to fall in love with him all over again (and the fact that she wants him to kiss her means that she is already mostly there). It's beautiful because she gets a chance to experience it all over again, and he gets to have what he always wanted: a relationship minus all the spy stuff, lies, deception, covers, and games. If she does remember, then you guys get your precious storybook ending and it's all good. This is fine by me, but I almost want her not to remember because they will be together no matter what, and few people get the chance to fall in love with their best friend twice. - underratedpercetion
I agree that they will probably end up together again. Still I feel that memory loss as a closure in any movie or tv show is an unfair move towards the viewers as it devaluates the things we (characters and viewers) experienced together: the invested time, excitement and emotions for the character altering events that meant a lot to us (and her in the past) but mean nothing for her anymore. They broke the connection that grew for 5 seasons between Sarah and the viewer as she might be a completely different person without those memories compared to the one we knew. For this, simply the fact that they stay together would not be a relief. The only more disappointing ending would have been if at the very end Morgan would wake up at the Buy more and it turns out that the whole story was only his dream.
And all that stuff from her past that she always wished she could forget. Her corrupt dad, high school, etc. Gone. She gets to love the Chuck she always loved. The goofy nerd that never killed anybody. Plus, I don't think any woman would hate a man proving his love to her every day

I just watched the ending yesterday and have to completely agree. It was nice not to have that storybook ending or an ending that was completely given. Her loosing her memory works for the spy show and although it feels like you lost Sarah you haven’t you still saw the glimpses at the end when she was told their story. It was a very optimistic ending with her either remembering or going to fall in love all over again and maybe this time Chuck will discover new things as well.
2:06 the way she shouts "Chuck" is like Chuck shouts "Sarah" when Shaw drugged her and wants to kill her. The same shrill voice showing the panic. By the way the acting from 3:00 is amazing. I love Sarah´s "I have so much that I wanna tell you" :)

First when Sarah is clearly worried and sad about Chuck's condition, thats clearly what happens for Chuck when Sarah has been kidnapped by Quinn. Next When Sarah decides to go find Chuck , thats the same thing for Chuck when Sarah has been kidnapped ^^. And the Final thing is when Chuck is on his way to lose his memory that Sarah comes over him and try to wake him... Thats a really key point because , she try to do it by talking about the proposal plans that Chuck has been hidding from her , but that Morgan told to Sarah when she discovered the paper (Thank you Morgan!) and she finally do it with this and a sweet Kiss... And thats exactly what happens for Sarah in the Final Episode. Chuck tell to Sarah their Love Story wich lead to Sarah wanting Chuck to kiss her to remember all of that , and thats exactly what happend , Chuck Trigger a flash from Sarah that unlock all of her memories that was hidden by the Intersect! When Chuck woke up, he's back to normal, he didn't lost any souvenirs so i guess that its the same for Sarah, they are both back to normal! We get back the real Sarah. Thats the real Ending :-). Hope tho they will make a Chuck Movie or something else about the future of Sarah and Chuck like talking about them having a Baby that could be fun to see Sarah with a Baby! :D
It still blows my mind that Yvonne can be such a great emotional actress and still keep her fake American accent in place. I would think that would be hard focusing on remembering your lines, acting to portray emotion, AND do it in an accent that is not your native accent.
