Maggie The Mountain Cur Is First In The Pool

- Maggie the Mountain Cur is the first in the pool this year. Maggie likes to stand on the pool step and sometimes when it is a hot day she enjoys laying in the water on the top step of the pool. She is a 2-and-a-half-year-old Mountain Cur. She is not really a swimmer from what we have seen but she enjoys the water as long as she is touching the bottom. She will go walking in the neighborhood lake and the creek in the park but does not venture out into deep water.
Damn that pool is clear for being just uncovered. Salt pool?
It was clear. A little algae in spots but I could see all the way to the bottom. It’s actually the first year it has looked that good. It is usually black when I first pull the cover off and takes a week to clear up. I had it cleaned in a day this year. I had a brand new cover put on it before I closed it and I think that was why it was so clear. The sun wasn’t able to penetrate the cover and get to the water. I was happy.
@@aroundthehousewithpat31 Awesome stuff. My motor went on my pump and it took about a week to clear up this year.
@@WooderBoyProductions that stinks. Had to replace my motor two years ago. It’s a chlorine pool. I had to restock all my chemical supplies this year. Walked out of the pool store 500.00 lighter in my pocket. It’s crazy how much they have gone up it price over the past few years. That and 4 grand for the new safety cover in October the thing is killing me. And it hardly gets used now since my kids are grown and out on their own. Pools aren’t cheap.
