Reavers are BAE. My dad used to use them back in the day, in Brood War, in combination with the Dark Templar, to utterly demolish Zerg bases. Can't remember what he used to use to get rid of detectors - Corsairs, I think.
I would’ve loved to see a cutscene of Artanis, Vorazun, Fenix, and Alarak fighting Moebius forces on the Spear of Adun. That would’ve been super badass.

a good combo for the ascendants is the carriers with the heal or sentinels so you can sacrifice their robot bodies & then trigger their reboot & let that cool down then repeat

Reconstruction beam, taldarim spellcaster, and purifier zealots go well together. Spellcaster sucks life from zealots for energy, zealots get healed by beam.
Am I the only one who think this should be micro mission? Why there are resurces nodes on pre built architecture? Leading Fenix unlocking more and more purifierers sounds more fun to me.

What point are you trying to make? Clearly, I've played this before so I've experienced the first time fun you're referring to. I also find it fun to master the maps as well and this is also for a video series walkthrough where many people aren't looking for time wasting bullshit.
It's a long time Jay thing. Reavers in the first game were terrifying, and since Jay favored playing Zerg... Reavers were the scariest thing in the game for him. Also they were sometimes kinda derpy and dumb with the way the scarabs worked.

It was originaly intended that way too according to the wiki, they changed during devellopement. Probaly because no one likes the scout.
