Aaaaah, now that's the kind of mission I was expecting from a mini campaign centered around ghosts actions. And what a fun dash around security it was too. Gotta agree with Sayorable, with those secret suit and weapon, Nova has literally become a Dark Templar. Ehehe.
I'm wondering, did anyone not figure out that Davis is the villain as soon as she showed up in the plot? They didn't even try to not make her look like someone who's completely evil
She was barely mentioned let alone showed in the plot before she was revealed as the villain. Like serioulsy she's like what, mentioned two time and has a grand total of two lines in one Kate Lockwell report ? But if you noticed then yes, she was a pretty obvious candidate, it's not like this campaign has oodle of named characters to pick from, let alone that get their own models so law of conservation of details and all that... They do try to give oua couple of red herring, first by having the defender of man operating from tarsonis which seems to scream 'old confedaracy loyalists" and also by mentioning another character (magistrate something) who seems critical of valerian but it's only one sentence and doesn't last long. I will say this, tho, the motive of it was somewhat interesting (even if it had been nice if shad been a little more develloped, and DAvis herself as a character while at it). It was nice to see Valerian get some consequences for what was effectively betraying his father to his enemies then jsut taking the empire he had build for himself (oh sure Arcturus was a complete monster and had it *more* than coming but hey, still make sense that he'd have loyalists who wouldn't be too happy about this)
I had no idea that gun sword was a thing so I blew through the entire campaign again to make sure it stayed via master archives. I love how Dominion bunker tech undergoes such a massive downgrade between the next and final mission.
There's some unique banter between this boss and Nova if you try to use dominate on him. I think there's also some dialogue of he was dealt the finishing now with dominate. I could be wrong about the second part.
@18:10, That guy just threatened to write up a literal robot. He seems like the kind of guy to tell the boss when you take a 16 minute break instead of 15.
Part of Moebius was alway 'evil' since under the cover of being an archeological society owned by Valerian, it was also a research group secretely connected to the hybrid breeding program under Acturus. (Acturus knew that, Verian didn't.) With the good dr Narud (Insert done to death runing joke about it being Duran backward here) manipularing both Mengsk. Basicaly Narud got Acturus to manipulate Valerian to fund Raynor through the 'offical' Moebius to get the keystone assembled , then to invade char to desinfest Kerrigan. Then he use her 'stored energy' from that to revive Amon (as we learn att he end of HOTS and in whipser of oblivion) while convincing Axturus to give him labs and troops to breed Hybrids as a secret weapon (but of course it's meant to be Amon's army and good ole Acturus would have got his ass betrayed if Kerrigan hadn't killed him first anyway) Somewhere during/after HOTS the hybrids hatched and since there was no reason to be subtle anymore, pretty much mass mind controled all the remaining Moebius personnel which becomes the Moebius corp you fight in LOTV.
So, Kerrigan was Mengsk's side ghost, and Nova is Valerian's side ghost... But it was Mengsk's inspiration to be a dumbass because it was Kerrigan's destiny to be a Xel'Naga and his son's destiny to be the emperor of the Terran Dominion.
Nova undergoes the shadow walk and becomes a dark templar lol
Secret Gunblade Weapon allows her to use Shadow Fury. It's just called "Fury of One"
Phase Suit allows her to blink like stalker.
Valerian: "Jesus christ, Nova, did you have to splatter their entrails over all the carpeting?!"
Nova: "Business."
I had no idea the gunblade was a thing, that's awesome!

Don't know your plans after you're done with campaign Jay, but I'd like to suggest checking out some of the Carbot mods if you haven't already
