You should do a create or amend this video with these black stoppers showing because there is zero mention in any documentation to remove them. I setup the A1 and immediately failed the calibration because of this. It was only when I compared pictures of my A1 and your A1 that I realised that I needed to remove these black stoppers.
@@miguelmachado6708 They are located behind each pillar securing the Z axis, I presume to prevent movement during transit. 2 screws each stopper to remove each one.
Really love the color coding of the connections, and where the screws go and how well everything naturally slots together. You can tell they really thought about the assembly when they designed how everything went together.
Just unboxed my A1 yesterday after spending so many hours watching your video =))) My machine is Chinese internal version so the manual book is in Chinese, your video is extremely helpful. Can not wait to have Bambu Lab printer available in Vietnam!
There isn't a model box for the turbine inside my package, but some people did receive one. After inquiring with customer service, they responded that the model box is included randomly. I believe that if it's a random gift, it should be announced or explained in advance.

Make sure to slide the print head over before you install the scraper. I know it SAYS that but i missed that step and couldn't pass a calibration at all.

I purchased an A1 on Jan 12 and received it Jan 22. Used it for three weeks and am now wrapped up in the recall. Have submitted the ticket to send it back, but there is no information back from Bambu Labs on where to ship it, a shipping label, etc….. we are told not to use the machines. I’ve been very happy with the printer, so happy I sold my previous machine. Will we have to wait the three weeks to receive our vouchers towards the purchase of a new machine? Can someone at BambuLabs respond please?
Hey Bambu you need to let all the people that have bought an A1 from you to stop using them because of the protentional fire hazard not just content creators send emails or letters to all customers that have this model i think government regulations need to apply with your products you need to follow them and be made to have ul stamping on your products to protect people from burning there houses down.
WTF are you talking about? They did a FULL recall. It's IMPOSSIBLE for them to email EVERYONE that bought them, because many were bought from 3rd parties. Not to mention, many people don't check their email or spam folders regularly enough. They went far beyond what a lot of companies would have (especially based in CHINA)!

Submitted a support ticket for my A1, entire toolhead is encased in filament, cannot remove toolhead to replace any parts, no response in a week, still waiting for any kind of reply. Terrible customer support, if there is any at all!

Update I really like the bambu products, but here is the issue. I have tried to contact Bambu Labs from their official website with no luck. The website won't allow me to go past the terms it makes you agree to. I finally was able to send a message just to test how long it would take for Bambu Labs to reply. It is days later now and I still haven't heard anything back. I don't know how anyone could give these people your business. What happens if the product has issue? I am really bummed out. I was excited after watching and reading about this product. I was ready to place an order for an A1 combo, but at this point, I'm glad I didn't 😢. Any suggestions on another printer?

Anybody here receive a Bambu Lab printer as a gift this past holiday season? My wife bought an X1 Carbon for me, but it was several days before I knew there is an associated filament membership... after I'd already made some purchases. This is part of the deal of the printer, part of what we're paying for, and I expect to get that. Was able to finally get them to move the membership over to my account, but now fighting with their support about the price delta on the qualifying filament I'd already purchased. They feel I'm asking for a reimbursement after obtaining the membership, but I counter that it should have been there all along. They point out that I should have known it from their website, but I point out that this was a GIFT and that I only found out by accident, since I wasn't trying to purchase one... I already own one. And that there was nothing obvious within the packaging that indicated the included membership deal. That membership is yours, and you (and I) should get it and the have to honor it. It is their poor organization that keeps some of us from knowing about it and/or getting that membership attached to our own accounts.
Hey Bambu Labs, I have purchased both the a1 mini and the x1 carbon printer and neither of them are working!!! I'm not an engineer and I don't have $2k to waste. Please offer better technology and help for your products. BE WARNED PEOPLE 😢

Bambu Lab's two proposals are insufficient, here is my proposal: Bambu Lab must send a new complete and corrected Base Housing as quickly as possible and I do not return the old one, I keep it for spare parts. So I don't have to carry out complicated, potentially dangerous and out-of-warranty technical work! I receive €120 in compensation for the loss and the advance of funds for many months for the purchase of a defective A1 !

Now they want everyone to either return their A1 or wait a few months to fix their own machine. For those who want to return their machine, is Bambu going to strip them for parts and reuse the parts in “new” A1 machines?! I have lost all trust in this company

I ordered their X1 Carbon Combo 3d printer along with accessories for $1879.66 total and received a dead unit on arrival that refuses to print unless firmware is upgraded. Upon unboxing, the firmware keeps failing to update no matter what I do. I messaged customer support and they have not responded in over 8 days. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Nah they awesome I have a few of their printers. Their customer support is slammed all the time due to their fast rise in popularity but I’m sure you’ll get it all worked out man.

Note: If there are stoppers on the Z-axis of your printer, use the H2.0 hex wrench to unscrew and remove them.

They only did project kids first come first serve at launch, so basically only pre-orders got them. I purchased Turbine cutout it’s really cool!
