This video is a testament to how powerful food addiction is. When you care more about the fact that things are breaking in your place over being able to walk to the door or do your own laundry, you know it's taken over. No hate, I'm also a food addict and made changes because I wanted too. Just pointing out the how it can take over your life, as powerful as any drug.

Rosetta Stoned, I finally reached a point where... after being over weight for 30+ years by about 70 lbs... and cholesterol horribly high... I decided I want to lose weight, so I need to lose 50 lbs now... (I lost 20 several years ago) and my cholesterol total went down from 240 to 190 yesterday. I still have aways to go.

So....she moved into a Low Rent complex, KNOWING they don't do regular maintenance. I own 60 units- with a 24 hour on call Bi Lingual property manager. You get what you pay for. We knew the first video, when your walls were so paper thin, you could hear a Kleenex drop outside your door.
On her first video when she said both her fridge and her stove weren’t working properly that she was going to have some real issues. I would have thought someone would have checked on those things for her before she signed a lease.
I have maintenance walk through before renting. They try every light switch, a/c, burners,toilets etc. If a renter moves in- and something isn't working,they are to text andletus know. All is fixed within a week

I've been in my home more than 20 years and I'm on my third water heater. I've had to replace my ac/heating unit. Multiple plumbing issue's, and so much more. But there's always light at the end of the tunnel, and it feels so good when things have been taken care of. You will be ok you just have to get thru it. Stay strong Candy! 😊😊😊

You gotta stand your ground girl. What I always did when I rented is said, “I’ll go ahead and pay to get it fixed, but it will come out of next months rent!” And that always made them move a little faster. A lease is an agreement between them and you, and part of there end is to fix things timely because you’re paying for furnishings that are in working condition!

Candy I understand what you're going through. Last year Texas had the worst winter crisis and I suffered because of it. I to live in an apartment and the pipes upstairs busted and my apartment was flooded up to my ankles. Every room, everything was damaged. The worst part was I was recovering from an almost four month hospital stay fighting for my life with Covid. My heart had stopped twice and the doctors believed I would not make it but God said different and spared my life. It took me moving 2 times before I was able to finally move back into my apartment, while I was recovering. Once I moved back in, I noticed black mold in my bathroom closet where the floor people forgot to remove the carpet that was soaked. So I had to move out again, we women are strong to say the least. Don't be sorry, that's why we are here to listen to you and enjoy your time with us. So I truly feel for your exhaustion of dealing with maintenance. In the end my apartment was brand new with new appliances and FEMA gave me money to buy new furnishings and pay for my rent for two months. I pray that you will be strong and everything will work out for you. I know you may not believe in God but I do and I pray for your health and situation.
Lack of sleep? From what you say you go to bed at 10:00pm and wake up the next day at 3:00pm. Lack? Lol , not! You needed to shower because you had to “work”? Eating food in front of a camera is not considered work. You complain wayyyyy to much although you swear you don’t complain at all. If you only ate half that sandwich and no pizza and ate better you would be able to do your own laundry.

This sounds like my life.... I have a water leak and my stove is tore up..... My landlord won't fix anything he told me he don't fix stuff like that and I told him if he wants his money for rent he needs to be fixing it....

I’ve had the same issues, people think they’re not really issues. They obviously have no idea the hell you can have when renting an apartment. My last apartment was so fucking bad, you have no idea. The water would stay hot for about 5 to 10 minutes but more like five. The floors were so torn up, I had no idea until we had to pull up the carpet. Because the sink had flooded all of the countertops and then the dishwasher leaked and actually broke. The sink would always flood all the countertops. So we had to check the floors because the carpet was so soggy it was not usable. And it was so torn up and we had to live with that until we moved. There was rust, stains on them that would not come off. The refrigerator was not cold enough, the crisper was broke. So if you put celery in there and you didn’t put it in a plastic container. The celery would wilt and go bad within a couple of days. Things at the back of the refrigerator would literally freeze, once I was cleaning it and I found a frozen head of lettuce. The water heater was absolutely destroyed and my boyfriend had to duct tape it together. Cause part of it was like breaking off I think. And the water heater room had stains on the floor like in the back that we didn’t know of. We wouldn’t have noticed it in the apartment tour. Also, the windows leaked and there was always a draft. And the air conditioner, was not put into the wall right. We didn’t notice this but my boyfriend had to put duct tape to cover because apparently there was actually part of the wall that was missing. And there was a huge draft, apartments suck. But hey, I don’t complain, it’s better than being homeless. It’s just ridiculous, everything was wrong with that apartment and you would’ve had no idea when you saw it. That is, until you rented it.
That is definitely a mold issue looking to happen. Once sheetrock gets wet, it never is ok after that. You won't see the mold on the outside either, it will be on the backside of the sheetrock. Especially with it getting hot outside now and the fact you don't have ac! I would be raising hell. This sounds like a nightmare. No wonder you're so upset. That would piss me off! Have you called the complex office or have you been only calling maintenance? Because I'd be raising living hell.

In the same vein, you don’t want to appear like a pushover to your landlord either. Stand up for yourself and stop letting them placate you and not keep their word to fix things asap. You’re a paying customer. Get what you’re paying for.

Candy, they have to fix your AC as an emergency due to your health issues! Tell them you are disabled with lung issues and can’t stay without heat and air! Also possible mold conditions could cause severe lung issues! They will have to put you up in a hotel until fixed! I’m a landlord and have paid for my tenants hotel numerous times while fixing the AC! It’s not safe for you! You ate in my thoughts and prayers!!🙏🙏❤️
When I lived in my last apartment things always went wrong. I tried to look at it as at least I was renting and they’d pay for the repairs and it didn’t have to come out of my pocket.

I had the neighbors water heater bust above us and remediation came and removed soooooo much drywall. Even areas they looked dry tested wet so mold will certainly grow and spread its very dangerous so i hope they do test it. 🙏

I say this because I care about you. I see you're having a really hard time with your weight. You need to take your time, to change your lifestyle and diet. It's a good thing if you want to entertain people, but you have to put your health first. No one will care if you are sick, the only one who can control that is yourself. Look in the mirror and you'll be there. That a healthy and ideal body will open up new thoughts, make you more productive and make you more optimistic and creative.
Oh I know how you feel about things going out. My boyfriend and I had to get a new central air and heat. It was the worst time for the a/c to go out here in Louisiana. It happened last year
