A new independent coffee shop is opening in my home town of Whittlesey, and one of the coffee they offer is a Lungo, do you know what it's like never heard of it before, looking forward to testing out when they open
There's a couple of interpretations of a lungo.....? But essentially a shot of espresso with water left to run through for longer to produce a larger shot. Can be inclined to bring out bitterness through higher coffee extraction level
Shame about your cafe - we've been lucky enough to see a decent one open in one of my offroad riding areas (Pike Snack Shack Rivington). Looking forward to your BB update you mention - missed whether you were still using the ZTTO ok ... doesn't sound too hopeful! My Checkpoint press fit BB is on its way out, done 2500 miles just trying to get it through the winter. Was hoping for a reliable solution to damn press fit that I can fit myself easily!
Look at the junction of the splines and the chainring on a direct fit chain set. Park Tools has a video on that common source of creak. If it has a spider, remove the chainring bolts and grease them and all surfaces touching the chainrings. Tighten the chainring bolts down well. Spokes in the rear wheel can mimic that creak if they're loose. There's a cycle of tightening and loosening that occurs each pedal stroke. The spokes can rub where they cross like a cricket's wings! The lowly bb stands wrongly accused on occasion. Try simple inexpensive fixes first.
More of a crunch than a creak in my case sadly and I know that the drive side bearing does not move as freely as it should having taken the crank off a while ago. it's never been right since my cranks went submarine in a flood a year ago. Of course in the good old days you could've just removed a BSA BB dried it all out and refitted it with no bother.
I couldn’t help but notice that the helmet straps on Mary Contrary’s Giro helmet looked so loose (I’m sure this’ll be controversial) but it really worried me ☹️
What ever your bike has got Paul, some sort of bottom bracket disease,it contagious, poor Mary's bikes now got it, big shame about Café Allez , community meeting place 🤔☹️
