    Whenever I purchase from ultrasaber I just buy the empty hilt and install the electronics myself

    Crimson dawn, Electrum Sabercrafts, and Sabertrio are the best bang for your buck lightsabers out there

    I’ve had very bad luck with UltraSabers. First lightsaber I got from them, the wires broke. To their credit, I sent it back and they fixed it and got it back to me within a week’s time. The second saber I got from them, the blade color LED stopped working the first time I went to charge the batteries. And most recently, I got a lightsaber that the blade color LED didn’t work right out of the box. And this wasn’t a mystery box saber. This was a custom saber that I ordered and paid over $300 for. If you’re going to pay that kind of money, you should expect the lightsaber to be well built. Sadly, that is not the case with UltraSabers.
    So far, I’ve sent two emails to them asking about getting both lightsabers fixed. But so far, after over two weeks of waiting, I still haven’t gotten a reply.

    Rebel sabers. Best choice by far, half the price of US, twice or thrice the features. Ultrasabers is ridiculously expensive, has bad customer service and takes waaaay too long.

      I still cant believe US base models actually use AAA batteries for $400+ models.. Not RS though amd they're easily half the price.

    I don’t think you know how scary it is for me to order a fallen light saber two days ago and then scroll towards a vid saying don’t order from them and this is even the same saber I ordered the fallen lightsaber 😳😳😳😳😳😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    I ordered mine on April 4th but needed to change something on my order so I sent a couple emails. Then the May 25th happened so I resent my order changes and I haven’t heard a peep since then

    I wish I could have seen this before I purchased the same lightsaber. The customer service rep told me that the new string blade has a parasitic drain, so I need to remove the battery or the blade each time I want to use it. Wtf, that's so inconvenient. Why don't they say that before someone buys their products.

    My teen daughter ordered a mystery box March 21st. She has contacted
    them via email and phone multiple times and gets no response. I have
    called 2 times and it goes to voice mail. I have emailed them twice
    with no response. I am going to have to show daughter now how to
    contact the bank and get her money back and then make a report to the
    Better Business Bureau which grades Ultra Sabers as an F. Many of the
    same issues my daughter has gone through. They continue to have sales
    and accept orders, yet ignore so many customers waiting for months to
    get their order. Not a way to run a business.

    For anyone who has placed an order with ultra sabers and wishes to cancel that order please go through your bank or PayPal or whatever payment method you used as ultra sabers will charge a 20% cancellation fee to your order!!!

      I reasearched thoroughly into ultrasabers and found all the pros and cons, I still went ahead and ordered a saber. It just seems the main issue is processing times

      Zeus Razor update : never get a response from them but when I finally did they said it will be another couple of months, and then they just offer to give you a much cheaper saber for the higher price you pay. I’m just getting my money back through my bank

    Someone's gonna get fired for that. So far I haven't had any problems from them. I really like their sabers. Everyone else's are more expensive and I'm really not impressed with anything else other than the vader's vault neopixel blades. They're brighter than tri cree. But then again they're more expensive. I might do vaders vault though.

      SaberForge now offers NeoPixel. They also offer Smooth Swing, and you can get those in their Hero Tier for LESS than what UltraSabers charges for their sabers that have neither of those two functions. You can also look into Electrum Sabers or Korbanth. I recently purchased a staff from Korbanth (two hilts and a coupler), that have NeoPixel, Smooth Swing, and a chassis to protect the electronics, for $1075 (that's $537 per hilt, which is as much as a Diamond Tier is gonna cost you from UltraSabers without NeoPixel, Smooth Swing, or a Chassis).

      No, Emory doesn’t care about these sabers. NO ONE gets fired. Because he doesn’t want to pay unemployment. I worked there for 2 years. The reason the sabers have poor quality is because the job sucks so bad there is a high turn over rater. So it’s almost always a new person that doesn’t really know what they’re doing. And by the time you send in your saber the person that made it doesn’t even work there anymore.

      The wiring was somehow damaged during delivery? Even if it was true, that only shows that they should offer a chassis to protect the electronics on the inside. That being said, it definitely seems like it was miss-wired and not damaged during shipping or there would probably be damage on the hilt (even the box it was shipped in was in good condition).

    I had the exact same problem occur with a Manticore that I purchased second hand on Ebay. Since I doubted that it would be covered under warranty, it's off being customized and installed with a Verso board by Blue Force Sabers. As far as Ultrasabers customer service, since their email catastrophe occurred, I have ceased to exist to them. Prior to the email incident their customer service had improved markedly... but now I'm at an impasse with them. I've put a moratorium on future purchases from Ultrasabers until I see evidence of improvement. In the meantime every other saber company is evolving with their products, and keeping the saber community informed about each of their unique situations during the pandemic. As far as saberforge is concerned their customer service may be a bit slow, but they have NEVER ignored me... and have always delivered on goods, service and repairs.

    Has this been resolved? Their customer support was very fast when I did a status inquiry, and provided me alternatives to get my order quicker. Also, hot tip, check the battery's connections. Had that issue with a competitor's lightsaber, and they walked me through flexing the connectors out to make a solid connection. That competitor is RebelSabers, btw, and I HIGHLY recommend them; cheap, durable, multiple sound fonts, light changing option, and an all around stellar product. Hasn't broken at all in over a month of high impact use. I've dropped it multiple times just to prove its durability, and it holds up perfectly.

    Guys you can get a proffie neopixel saber from crimson dawn for $229.99 USD which is FAR better than the looks and sounds of even the most expensive saber that US offers. Oh and it also has smooth swing! No reason to buy from ultra or forge when such a great sabers like that is available, not to mention much better customer service!

    When you said you are going to Saberforge and hope you’ll have a better experience, I gasped. I hope you didn’t order anything from SF yet, cause they are just as bad as US. I’ve had a terrible experience with them.

    Everyone knows they have a 3-4 week lead time. I emailed them on the 6th week, saying along the lines i know there is a 3-4 week lead time, and now it is 6th week. I got an email back from them saying they have a 3-4 lead time due to the corona virus. with them bolding "3-4 week" part. So i packed up and went to SF. :)

      @@daggerzzz But SF are easier to get a hold of so long as you do not spam their email (every time you email SF, you are put in a cue. Sending another email resets your place in the cue to the bottom). You can also get ahold of the owner of SF pretty easily on Facebook. He is part of this Facebook group facebook.com/groups/CustomLightsaberOwners/ His name is Phillip Isherwood, and I always see him respond on the group to the people that @ him, and he genuinely helps his customers out. Also, SaberForge offers NeoPixel and Smooth Swing at prices that are cheaper than UltraSabers Diamond Tier that do not have either of those features.

    I have had problems too, for some reason when I turn it on for more than 5 minutes it randomly turns off and say “obsidian” there was no tab to pull out or anything, I have checked the battery’s and stuff and I don’t know what’s going on. Someone please help

    I literally just got my saber and it’s a stunt one so that I can duel my friends. And of course I try and turn it on and it doesn’t work. Idk if they test the product before they send it but if they don’t, then they should really stop making these

    I'm not going to say anything about your video, save one thing in it. You say "Go buy from Saberforge. They have a ton of options." or something to that effect. Yeah, they have a ton of sabers that you could purchase, save for the fact that 98% of them are out of stock. They literally have 4, count them 4, sabers that they are still selling. Even most of the other stuff that they sell, their Helmets and other Cosplay items, are also "Out of Stock".
    I get that this Covid mess is causing a lot of problems, even Ultrasabers is having issues with the Covid mess (reduced staff, trying to abide by the restrictions that Texas is enforcing for businesses). But I would definitely say to not buy from ANY saber company at the moment until Covid restrictions are lifted or they get their items back in stock.
    That being said, I am sorry that you are having issues with them and getting your saber fixed. I have ordered 3 sabers from them (2 Custom, one Sound MB) and I have yet to have any sort of issue with them, other than the Emerald Saber not allowing me to upload fonts on it until I went and bought a USB hub due to some issue with the USB plugs in most newer computers not meshing well with the USB plug in the saber through the USB cable. Once I bought the Hub, it worked perfectly without any other issue.
    Hopefully, at some point, you can either get your saber fixed or replace the electronics within it with something different (as their are a multitude of videos and things detailing how to do this). Or I hope Paypal can refund the money from the purchase.
    But yeah, that's all I wanted to say.

      They are horrible in answering their email. I've sent out 5 email in the past 3 weeks and no reply. I won't be ordering from them for now. My first and last bad experience with them.

      I kinda just threw out a name. There are other companies that have more stock, such as Vaders Vault, Electrum Sabers, or even Rebel Sabers. SaberForge will eventually restock. Also, UltraSabers often does not put their hilts as "out of stock" even if they are. Instead, you'll receive an email weeks later letting you know that the saber is out of stock, and they'll offer you the chance to pay to upgrade to a different hilt, and if you refuse and try to cancel your order, they'll try to hit you with that restocking fee.

    I tried paying for a ultra saver, but it said it canceled my card so I decided to find another one because I change my mind. Because he canceled my card right? So I bought another one and it turns out it charged my account twice, I’m trying to email them and I’ve sent them voicemails and I still have had no response. Wonder if me asking for a refund is the reason why im having horrible service

      Im having the same issue, I thought changing the batteries would solve it but nothing, it does a "baap baap baap baap baap baap" sound very quickly and then it makes the sound of it turning off.

    I have personally preferred saberforge over ultrasabers, because to me ultrasabers dont seem like they are high quality. I could be wrong though but I see a lot of videos against and for ultrasabers so I am really not sure.

    Dude they are a fine and good quality seller of custom lightsabers. All you have to do is change all 4 batteries.

    Hi dear, your videos are really nice! I was screwed with Ultra saber. I bought the same lightsaber you show in this video ... but it doesn't work. I changed the batteries several times but the problem is always the same: as soon as I put the batteries the sword works correctly. Then the next day it doesn't turn on anymore ... incredible. Ultrasaber has never answered this problem and I don't know what to do to fix it. Do you have an idea how I could solve the problem? (I am from Italy...very sorry for my poor english!)

    I think Ultra sabers will be ok don't give up on them. And Saberforge customers service will respond just takes some days. Also they shipping is long but you'll get what you paid for. All saber companies will have some defaults. But Korbanth is having a run soon and KR sabers. Kr sabers got two preorders now until the end of this month. The Leia lightsaber and Darth Sidious both screen accurate.

      I gave up on UltraSabers after I started doing more research and realized they are a horrible company. Their electronics are outdated and over priced, and I hear they treat their employees like garbage (and whatever happened on May 25th with Marlena is proof of that).

      I have heard good things about them! However, I do not buy products directly from China. I'd like to recommend Korbanth, Vaders Vault, or Electrum Sabers for good quality located in North America. I'd also like to mention Rebel Sabers for cheap alternatives that are still better than UltraSabers.

      i’ve tried to contact her as i ordered mine may 11th and had an issue with the shipping address and it said her email didn’t exist :(

      She either quit or got fired, and she took all their emails with her (every email prior to May 25th was deleted). Not exactly sure what happened, but it shows that their customer service is a complete mess. Marlena used to be great. I reached out to her with all my prior inquires and she was usually very helpful. I'm sure if she was still around, I'd have gotten my saber fixed.

    I’ve only had good experiences and when I sent mine in it came back like new they where only supposed to fix the soundboard but they fixed small cracks in the hilt and a bunch of other stuff and I was so happy

      Possibly a bad solder connection if you have the tools I recommend pulling it out and pressing on wires turns it on, you run into this alot when buying any machine soldered electronics, sometimes they dont get connected properly or if you've used the saber roughly or if it fell it can pop that wire loose just enough.

    Ordered mine may 27th. Got one email saying, "i forgot to add the promo code for the free initiate. Allow me 1-2 business days so i can change that on the physical copy of your order." I said, "Thank you so much. I didnt realize i needed to add both promo codes to receive both free sabers that would be great. Thanks again. Its now been over 2 weeks and I've sent him emails. The owner a email. Info@ultrasabers.com. even some other alternatives I've found. Multiple emails, called them multiple times on different days. Voicemail box is full. No one answers. No one replies. It just makes you feel like you dont matter at all. Ive wanted one of their sabers for over 10 yrs. I finally get some extra cash to throw at a toy and i decided to finally get one with my friend for me, him, his kid and another for a b day gift for another friend. Place the order and this crap. I cant believe it. Over 10 years then i place an order and they wont even reply. Makes you feel really great and valued as a fan of their work when they do this. If a Ultrasabers employee reads this i hope it shows them what some simple conversation would achieve. Not a early delivery date if ur too busy but when you have someone's money you owe them conversation about whats happening at least and be there to do somrthing like make a change to an order. Thats a simple fix that wont let your company thats been around since i was in high school fall to the ground.

If you look around forums u may find specific employees email addresses which will skip the info@ultrasabers and go right to a customer service rep. Idk if it will work for you but after a month of attempts i finally got replied too. Whether this will continue or not im not sure.

      @@ella.sienna762 laura@ultrasabers.com got back with me but i messaged like 5 different ones i found that people said where reliable so i would try more than just that cause she may be slammed and not get to it where as someone else may. Read comments on recent saber videos. Sometimes people post emails of employees or their names that helped them. Shoot them all one so u have a better chance. Good luck
