Daniel take care of farm business first. Hi grandma! Sure hope everything is ok with you. I was born in Huntsville and raised in the hills of Tennessee. Sure was different back then. One day I will tell how my dad had to plow, plant, cultivate, and pick corn on a steep hill side. Have a very nice evening.
We planted more beans than corn this year. Corn is 5.70 a bushel and beans is 13.85 a bushel. Before we plant winter wheat we rip the field first to get rid of any compaction problems. We're looking at 300 plus a bushel.

Just glad I found channel, enjoy the farming and all the fix/repair still needed. Was a six year resident of Montgomery back in 70’s and was familiar with farming around Mt. Meigs on Hwy 80. Good looking corn and beans, hope you have a really good harvest.

Awesome video as always. That speed tiller levels things out well. Local farmer her in nc spreads rye or wheat and works it in the corn stalks and spreads chicken litter early spring in the cover crop before twin row 36inch beans. Many blessings this harvest season!!

Triple R, Another awesome video, THANKS FOR FILMING and for the data. I have an engine hour meter on my truck, never had much use for it until now! Looking at the total miles, average MPG, and the run hours I am averaging 1.7 gallons/hour unleaded. With average gas prices here its costs me about $5.10 an hour. Good luck and on to the next one.
