They do have an issue with the characters getting older, so the quicker they film the better because some characters will look way too different between seasons if they wait too long. The only reason we had to wait so long for season 4 is because covid restrictions halted their filming for a year. If you take a year and a few months away from the time that it took to release....then it actually took about a year and a half for them to film and edit this season.
