@JcDaniel No doubt! He’s 93 atm here in 2022, and in 2018 he married a nice lookin’ blonde broad in her 40s or maybe 50s at the oldest (which is definitely going to help keep him young at heart/spirit too!). I think his spitfire attitude and constant high energy level is definitely going to make him become a centurion, which would be especially incredible because it is much more difficult for a guy to become a centurion than a woman. He has similar genetics as my great-grandmother (she and him were both full-blooded Italians, with her being a first gen American to be born on American soil after her parents from central Italy migrated over in the late 1800s, and Pat’s father having migrated from southern Italy [but his Italian blooded mom was born on American soil]). My great-grandmother was born around 25 years before Pat, but she was sooooo close to making it to being a centurion! She left us at either 98 or 99. And you know what else? She was also absolutely hysterical! She was the funniest family member I’ve ever known and was constantly cracking me up. I think a lot of it was bred in those big Italian families back then (she was one of 12 kids in total!), and not only were they always chattin’ up a storm at family get-togethers/suppers/etc, they were always crackin’ jokes and making fun of one another. The get-togethers were always so loud, with everyone trying to talk over each other and be heard, etc. The only thing that prevented her from making it to age 100 was her awful, unloving daughter (my grandmother). My grandmother convinced her mom (my great-grandmother) to sell her home (which had been her home ever since she got married young 😢), leave the Boston suburb she had lived in forever (and around all her beloved extended family members), and move across the country to the armpit of the nation, where my grandmother lived - Las Vegas. Not to live together though; just to get put into a wretched nursing home where she would know no one and it would crush her soul/spirit. It was so bad that because they had her in bed all day, she developed bed sores. They followed procedure by requesting permission from the daughter to allow the nursing home inject her mom with antibiotics so the bed sores wouldn’t get infected (as the daughter had power of attorney ofc). My grandmother refused to allow them to administer the medication. In her mind, my great-grandmother wasn’t dying fast enough, and she really wanted that inheritance money for her gambling addiction needs. So that’s how my beloved, nearly centurion, Italian great-grandmother died. She suffered from infections from bed sores in a terrible nursing home, instead of being surrounded by the family that cherished and adored her back in Massachusetts, and had very much wanted to take care of her. She was so much of a joy and riot to spend time with, but my greedy grandmother’s ice cold dark heart was unable to even enjoy the company of a puppy, much less the company of a human or family. Sorry this is so long, but to wrap this up...Pat Cooper (who’s real name is Pasquale Caputo) not only has that same spitfire, funny as fuck Italian attitude/energy, he now has a “young” hot babe that is going to make sure he makes it to 100 years old, and does so while living at home with her… I am absolutely positive of it! :D Listening to him has been an absolute joy and reminded me soooo much of my boisterous east coast Italian fam from that earlier era.
