Well shit. I just received my tags i ordered last week and thought "OMG, i can make these myself" but didn't know how. Thank you. Hobby lobby's brand is great, and affordable HTV. the sheet you put over it is a " teflon pressing sheet"
Lol You sound just like me "I can make these myself"... I say that about everything. If I had the recipe I'd try to make my own HTV sheets too🤣 Ok great, I'll have to check out Hobby Lobby's stash. They always have great sales, so that's perfect. Teflon sheet! Thank you! It was on the tip of my tongue lol
143 vinyl has some really good htv... Htv is great I wonder how it would hold up on a bag front like a panel or something... I have used it on the back of tassels etc. I have also made some tags it saves so much money... Great Tutorial!!
Great video. I hadn't thought of doing labels with my cricut. Guess what I'm doing today.. A couple of pointers. The outline is from the backing sheet. If you leave a bit more space around your design so the backing sheet is off the side of your label when you press, you won't get this. Also try a different setting with your animal print htv. Hit 'more pressure ' on the blade setting or try a setting for something thicker like glitter vinyl on the menu. You just have to find a setting it likes.
Hi Niri! Yes, in the video I explain about the outline and how to avoid getting it. I also noted to use the more pressure option, which I did, and it still would not cut through it😭 I suppose I shall give it one more go lol
This video is so helpful for me. I just bought a scan and cut. You have helped me know how to make my own bag tags and save a ton of money!! Thanks so much!
Ravon, thank you for this tutorial. I have been wondering how to make tags with my cricut. And it is awesome that other colors can be used and save tons of money and time!! And your baby girl is just precious and so adorable!! I have a son who will be 14 soon and a daughter who will be 10 this year!! It is crazy how fast the time flies!! I hope you have a wonderful day!! 🙂🙃
Yes, we can save tons of money making our own! Lol thank you! She's four going on 15, so I totally get what you mean about them growing so fast! Thank you for checking out my video, and I hope you have a great day too!
Thanks for the video. I love all your videos. I’m going to try to make some leather/vinyl name tags. I have a lot of experience with HTV and adhesive vinyl and you did a pretty good job explaining. When you cut the printed HTV you have to cut it a little deeper than the regular HTV. 🤗
Thanks for checking out my videos! I put the cut on more pressure, but I suppose I could pick another material.. I never thought of that. Thanks! Good luck with your tags, I would love for you to post the finished results on my group! www.luvlolalooks.com/single-project

@@LuvLolaLooks, it happened during 2020 and with all that went on that year in the handbag world with Supply Chain issues due to Covid, that news kind of got lost in the shuffle of life. But Samantha keeps it going so no worries.
Thank you for this tutorial, Ravon. It's great. I didn't hear if you addressed it. But, can you use regular permanent stick vinyl? I have tons of that type of vinyl. Didn't know the types that I'd actually use before purchasing vinyl when I got my cricut.
Hi! I'm not an expert on vinyl, so i don't want to steer you in the wrong direction or give incorrect information; the only kind I've ever used is what I have linked in the description box of this tutorial.
Nice video... rather helpful. just one note. HTV stands for heat transfered vinyl if it's the kind that adheres without heat it's just vinyl. Thank you for the video!
Baby girl wanted to play dolls so bad 😂❤️ Maybe your little one needs another little one to play with 😉😉😉 My great niece moved all the way to Florida so this definitely made me miss her and playing dolls with her. 💔 Thanks for the video. I'm definitely going to work on making some tags. Now if I can just come up with a name that will work!! Anonymous Amy Makes is a bit too long to fit on those tiny labels 🤣
Lol she ALWAYS wants to play dolls. Aww, so sorry you're missing your great neice❤ I'm so glad you found this video helpful! Lol yes, that's quite a mouthful for a label.
Love this tutorial! Thanks for the great idea! I’m a new subscriber and enjoy your content. Did you know you can connect your Maker via Wi-Fi and not deal with cords? I like being able to design on my laptop or iPad and not worrying about plugging it in and out. I know some prefer to directly connect, but just thought I’d mention that in case you didn’t know. Dafont is da bomb! 🤣 I was taking screen shots of the font names as you were scrolling. I haven’t used it in awhile and didn’t know you could donate to creators…or maybe I just never noticed. That’s very cool!!
Thank you so much for subscribing! I totally did not know that I could connect via website. Do you how many times I've tripped over that damn cord?! I would love to do without lol Thanks for that info. Yesss dafont is da bomb!!
Hey Karen! 👋🏽 Thank you! No, I haven't, but I hear people do it all the time. I'm too lazy to cut out a square to then place on my mat etc, upload the svg etc. I'll just stick to the ol school trace & cut method lol The process is quite relaxing to me.
Hi great video.... down in South Africa we came last... what do i need??? I know it the HTV, Leather or whatever material for the label, heat press But tell me... is the Cricut a machine or software on your computor What kind of ptinter do i need?
A "Cricut" is a cutting machine that you can connect to your computer. You can use it to cut out all kinds of things. I have a Silhouette Cameo 3 cutting machine. I'm still learning how to use it.😅
Anyone with a Silhouette Cameo make these yet? I've been trying but for some reason, the fonts don't show up in my Silhouette fonts. I'm not technologically advanced AT ALL so I have no idea what to do now. 🤦🏼♀️ So embarrassing 😂

I just hopped in the comments about 143. Great HTV and super affordable

Hey…great video. Someone asked about using this method on cork. My antenna went up! I saw your samples on cork, do they ever start peeling?
