Public server time!... Performance has always been pretty tedious in public servers, though I'm pleasantly surprised with how well it's running now. It's certainly an improvement from the lagfest that was v1.2.1.
The main upside to playing in a public server instead of a private server is the sheer amount of trains (players) scattered across the map.

IETs since they have more route variation , more features, and generally just look better/ are more detailed than the voyagers. You also get more trains from the IET pack.

Sometimes it happens after I've just been in freecam. I try to drag the throttle with my mouse and usually it fixes.

It's actually not the game glitch, but roblox glitch. You need to press w again and then you can pull the throttle down. It happens everywhere in roblox
