The second we hit some back roads I told him to hand the cockpit over lol. Already filled it up 3 times and put over 550 miles on it. My wife is complaining that I'm not home enough or not taking her out in it when I go haha. it will come to you and you will absolutely love it. Still getting used to the clutch and the power of the V8 lurching into first and second gear but I can't stop thinking about my next opportunity to drive it. Just be confident. People behind you will wait when you stall out. Shift slow and consciously until it becomes muscle memory. It doesn't require a lot of gas to run through your gears. Good luck man. Let me know how you're doing in a couple days. Pretty cool we're in the same scenario lol.

My statement gaines further credance. I have owned four GT Mustangs over the years and have always bought the first resigned year model including my current 2018 GT l special ordered, since for the next four years, my Stang can pass a current year model. My 2018 looks identical to this 2021.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yeah, it comes with the trim and the shadow black color, (Wich is what ford just call black im pretty sure). It comes with some really neat seats (Not really sure what they are called yet) And a few other things. Only got it yesterday afternoon so still heaps to learn about it!

@@omarcompean8923 Yeah you gotta contact them. Definitely a good idea to use the online build and price tool and get an idea of what you want before you call. Also, when you get a price, call another dealer and ask if they can beat it. They usually can. I was able to get mine for around $36k USD.

You'll love it! I'm not a big fan of the 10 speed. Just doesn't feel like a performance auto like other cars offer. The 6 speed is the way to go for a Mustang!
I test drove a lime green 2021 GT last month. What a blast to drive! It had the digital dash, which is awesome. Love that exhaust sound! In the end, I bought a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Lol. My love of off-roading won out! Good video Brian.

I was gonna buy used but I couldn't find one in good enough shape with the specs I wanted. The ones that I considered were also very close to the final price I paid ordering one exactly how I wanted it.

@@tommybrumfield3052 Not really. One of my friends has been a Ford tech at one of the largest dealers in Ontario for the past 7 years, and they're also a Ford Performance dealer. He's never seen one with the the transmission issues. I felt plenty confident after hearing that.

Here in the states, the Mustang has two different cluster options, this one you see in the video and the digital cluster! What are the ones you see look like? The rear signals are pretty cool looking for sure!

Manual all day! There are too many gears with the 10 speed and it just isn’t that responsive when you’re trying to have fun. It’s faster in a line but the manual is sooo fun!
Depends on what you want! For me, a manual in a sportscar is a must because for car enthusiasts it's more engaging and fun! But if you aren't into wanting to do that, the auto is fine.

Check out all of them in person at some point! Between the Mustang, Camaro and Challenger, they are all very similar but handle different. The Challenger is the biggest of the bunch and the Camaro/mustang are much lighter. Just depends on the options you want and what you like the best, but definitely check them out in person!
It's either that or go back to the 4ft metal wire antenna lol. So at least they dropped that. But many other cars don't even have one anymore since it's just built into the roof. So maybe they can clean it up even more

Ok. I have the same thing with ecoboost lol. Same features. Same track apps, same transmission. Difference is what’s under the hood. I just have 2.3L engine. Not a bad car. Perfect to run hard on mountains 🏔 ⛰ even with excessive heat.
I haven't seen a manual with remote start! Most people leave the car in gear so it wouldn't work unless you had the car in neutral, but then you could risk it rolling somehow.
Im 23 and I currently own a 2010 V6 and Im planning on getting a 2022 GT. I saved up $19k as of this posted comment and im planning on trading in my car. Should I buy it or should I save upto $30k? Or should I wait for the S650?
Depends on what you feel is best for you. If financially you can afford it and be comfortable with that, then go for it! But don't spend all your money on a car, just my advise.

Man, I put my 10 speed up against a manual and was left smelling his rubber before one half a turn of the sprocket. I simply haven't the leg strength to peddle fast enough against this car.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yeah, worked on a brand new 2020 Ford f150 5.0 with 8.8 quarts of oil with the sway bar right behind the plastic plug, & the pan is plastic casing. So it is messy job to do the oil change. It went back to the Ford escapes with the aluminum pan with the steel plug, the pan threads are weak on those years when they did it. Even though I am lube technician not a mechanic. Even some of the customers are in awe that there vehicle has a plastic oil pan with a plastic drain plug.
Surprisingly a lot of muscle car owners don't want anything over then the V8 and a manual transmission. Not everyone wants the luxury aspects. Personally I'd want a fully loaded car lol. But if you want an affordable sportscar with jus the fun factor. A base V8 with performance pack is a great way to go

Yeah this isnt much different looking from the 2015+ Mustang. Subtle differences. But this does have the new digital display available which is cool!

Your instrument cluster looks different to what i am seeing on the Australian import. Love the sequencal rear indicators. And of course that V8 note

It's either that or go back to the 4ft metal wire antenna lol. So at least they dropped that. But many other cars don't even have one anymore since it's just built into the roof. So maybe they can clean it up even more

Ok. I have the same thing with ecoboost lol. Same features. Same track apps, same transmission. Difference is what’s under the hood. I just have 2.3L engine. Not a bad car. Perfect to run hard on mountains 🏔 ⛰ even with excessive heat.
Cool! People seem to really like the EcoBoost version of these. A ton of power out of that engine

Completely off topic, but can manual cars have remote start?
I haven't seen a manual with remote start! Most people leave the car in gear so it wouldn't work unless you had the car in neutral, but then you could risk it rolling somehow.

I just picked up a 21 GT 6 speed and the manual equipped cars do not come with remote start, only the automatics

Im 23 and I currently own a 2010 V6 and Im planning on getting a 2022 GT. I saved up $19k as of this posted comment and im planning on trading in my car. Should I buy it or should I save upto $30k? Or should I wait for the S650?
Depends on what you feel is best for you. If financially you can afford it and be comfortable with that, then go for it! But don't spend all your money on a car, just my advise.

Man, I put my 10 speed up against a manual and was left smelling his rubber before one half a turn of the sprocket. I simply haven't the leg strength to peddle fast enough against this car.
10 Speed is faster for performance. But I don't find it to be a fun transmission at all. Manual is the way to go! Much more engaging and fun!

The only downside that these gen 3 5.0s have a plastic drain plug. Not a fan of those, dealt with numerous amounts of plastic drain plug.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed yeah, worked on a brand new 2020 Ford f150 5.0 with 8.8 quarts of oil with the sway bar right behind the plastic plug, & the pan is plastic casing. So it is messy job to do the oil change. It went back to the Ford escapes with the aluminum pan with the steel plug, the pan threads are weak on those years when they did it. Even though I am lube technician not a mechanic. Even some of the customers are in awe that there vehicle has a plastic oil pan with a plastic drain plug.

Surprisingly a lot of muscle car owners don't want anything over then the V8 and a manual transmission. Not everyone wants the luxury aspects. Personally I'd want a fully loaded car lol. But if you want an affordable sportscar with jus the fun factor. A base V8 with performance pack is a great way to go

it because if I spill or dirty the leather I can easily wipe off whatever it is good luck cleaning cloth with just a little bit of water and a wipes 😭

Even though I'm not a fan of manual transmissions, the shorter throw can also help maximize safety.
