  • Join Matt Gould as he catches up with Bristol Colleagues, Tom and Dan, as they head out to put the Leica M10-P and M10-D through their paces.
Both Tom and Dan are familiar users of the Leica systems and Matt spends some time afterwards hearing how they both found the cameras performed.
With thanks to Leica, Tom Greetham and Dan Dale

I really want to like this video, but I'm really having trouble following the audio due to the echoes and how distant voices sound from the microphone. Thanks for putting in the effort either way.

I like this. Just a couple of blokes casually talking about the experience of photography with two different tools.

For an amazing city like Bristol, so poor photos

Great content, but two suggestions: Please 1) invest in a good overhead mic or lapel mic and 2) don't rear project spotlights!

Had to stop watching... Audio was a pain in the a**. :(
Otherwise interesting topic as I'm about to buy one of them.

When I shoot portrait under very strong backlight and need to adjust exposure by switching to spot metering mode, then it is not so convenient with the D.

it’s crazy to me that Leica owners never emphasize the importance of the lenses which really make the magic .

we photographers get so hung-up on equipment, often at the expense of taking “good” pictures...can you imagine great writers arguing about whose typewriter is the best...”the best camera is the one in your hands” - there’s no art in this camera obsession

I preferred the M10P images!? It's the same everything minus the screen!

It's because of the M10p's ability to check the photo just after shooting and correcting it if the exposure was off. You can't check the pic after shooting with the M10D unless you're connected to the app, which is a PITA and defeats the purpose. While I love the concept of the M10D, there is really no purpose for it outside of a collector's item - just shoot with an M10 and don't chimp...
