CX fans, please know that her drama, Fangs of fortune, will air in October on iQIYI. This should be a mega hit. The visuals are stunning and the acting appears to be above most of the shows China has released so far in 2024. However, it appears that forces in China are trying to repress it. It supposed to air on October 4th on iQIYI. I’m already hearing comments that Weibo is not actively advertising it, and any discussion or views are being demoted in favor artists they like. This is a recurring theme for Cheng Xiao. It’s almost like there’s a vendetta against her. Maybe she didn’t sleep with a Producer because she has morals or maybe it’s a more powerful female star that’s jealous of her because CX is naturally talented in so many areas including esports (she was named the MVP in We are the Champions esports gaming tournament). Whatever it is, we fans in China & international will, hopefully, join together to defeat them and elevate her!
