I love this piece. Beautiful transformation. This is one of my favorite pieces that you’ve done. I love the MCM style mixed with the cool Modern hardware. Makes the perfect marriage.
It turned out beautifully!!! I love how you added a before picture to the end... It really shows how far it came! Too bad about the original hardware. Maybe you can use the more intact pieces on another project. The only thing I might have done differently, (and this is just my taste, not saying you should have done it differently), is I probably would have sanded the legs and top, left them wood, and stained them....but I'm all about the wood in these mid century pieces... Still...lovely...💙💜💙
Wow. This was the UGLIEST piece of furniture I've ever seen before you got hold of it. LOL You rescued this poor thing!! It looked amazing when you got done!!
YES!!! WOW it was ugly! I could not believe some one would try to strip this the way they did! And then be like "oh well screwed that up, think I'll stick it in storage for 20 years!" lol crazy! It was a fun flip. I can not believe what the restored originals sell for! If only they would have left that mahogany in tacked. Oh well! We did what we could. She sold quick so that was a bonus!
What auction sites do you use? I currently use Market Place mostly but as a one person shop its very time consuming trying to chase down pieces to flip.
The dresser looks beautiful but because you have put the finished item right at the beginning of the video people probably won't need to watch the whole video.
Love, love, love this 1960 dresser.

I hope u kept the hardware for a small piece in the future. Love your videos and the beautiful work you both do.
I wish I could have! Each piece had about 6 pieces to it total and there were so few that were complete & so much rust. No such luck! :/

What do you use to clean the furniture pieces? Tsp or detergent,,,
I use Crud Cutter followed by a warm water rinse.

I agree! In my latest video I talk about this! th-cam.com/video/eDTDKgV1klM/w-d-xo.html
I don’t know how much you paid for these pulls but I just looked and they were $128, a bit steap!
Whoa!! Look for a look a like there’s no way I paid close to that!

Thank you so much for your input! I will def take this into consideration for other uploads.
