What an awesome video! I found a bajo yesterday with a broken neck and coincidentally I've been wanting to learn how to play the banjo for the longest time. Also, I live pretty close to retrofret. I was kinda shocked when he said "Brooklyn New York" and I think i'm way happier than I should be.
I am having trouble with the tuning head, I am replacing strings but the tuning pegs won’t hold as I tighten them for tuning. It’s an old Bacon C 4 string tenor.. I turn the peg and it just slips back . What can be done to fix this? Is it totally not easy to fix by myself and needs a professional repair guy like you?
