I have just started using them on my Prado D4D. Done only 1000 kms. Good handling. Had a long trip with no issues. Was bit concerned with fuel economy due to its rugged look, but it was similar to my previous Bridgestone ecopia. I love the look more than anything. Drives good. Not much noise. Happy with it. Let’s see how far I go. Fingers crossed.

I’ve had these on my truck for over a year and for my 2002 Ford Expedition. I love these tires. They work wonderfully in aggressive off roading, in water and mud. We hardly had any snow last winter, for Jersey so I have to wait for this winter. They’re quiet on the road too. I will def get them again when it’s time to change them in the future.
Update: went through this past winter in over a foot of snow in one storm and these tires had no problem going through the snow, in two wheel drive.
I then put them in 4x4 going through a small mountain and of course, they did great. No wheel slippage at all.

@@WhatTheHeck1290 My truck is my family car, when my wife, 4 kids and I go out for the day.

I'm on my second set of Pirelli's on my Ford Escape 265/70/16. Had the regular Scorpion AT's and got 70,000 miles on them. Now I have the AT+ with about 35,000 miles on them. Great tires, quiet and decent off road traction being in the Midwest they are good in snow as well. Had them off-road many times including Montana, California and Moab Utah. Have a 4Runner now with General Grabber ATx tires will consider the Scorpions when they wear out. The Pirelli's are standard equipment on many F150 off road packages, not a mud tire but in my opinion are a good compromise when using a vehicle mostly on pavement.

From what I have seen online they make them in most common sizes but most tire shops will not have them in stock. The Scorpion All Terrain Plus is Pirelli's On-/Off- Road All-Terrain light truck tire developed for drivers of pickup trucks, crossovers, and SUVs who want a balanced blend of on-road civility with off-road capability. So check with your local shop online with the size and I am sure they can get them ordered for you. What kind of vehicle? I have a 2012 Subaru Outback and would like a more capable tire than oem but don’t want a tire that is overweight.
These tires tested well by Tire Rack.

I have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500. So a little 4 wheel driving in the some mud mostly snow where I’m from. So far they have been awesome.

Any AT tire will be heavier than stock All-season/highway tire... but these are one of the lightest (along with Cooper AT3 4S and Toyo Open Country A/T III). If you get a lighter than stock wheels and pair them with AT tires will have minimal gain of unsprung weight. I gained 4lbs going with 1" taller AT tire (Cooper AT3 4S) on lighter 22lb aftermarket wheel versus stock 25ish lb factory wheel with one of the lightest highway tires (Kumho Crugen HT51). Wanted the extra ground clearance and correct speedometer reading (32" tire size for Frontiers) - glad I did so. Have noticed slight decrease in acceleration and a slight drop in fuel mileage... would be less so if same sized diameter as stock.
Just decided to upgrade wheels again, since 16" tires are getting harder to come by, 17" seems to be best selection. Ordered these Pirelli AT+ tires to go with 17" wheels that are 2lbs heavier than the lightweight 16" ones have been running... tires are same weight though, so change should be very minimal since weight difference is located closer to the hub and not the tires (which is a much worse thing).
For your Outback, standard highway tire seems to be 25-27 lbs in 225/60-17 size. The Pirelli AT+ in 225/65-17 comes in @ 29lbs... and just under 1" taller at 28.5". That is the shortest diameter the Pirelli comes in for 17". So only a 2lb gain in tire weight with about 1/2" increase in ground clearance... could easily offset the weight with lighter wheels.

Well I can tell you that I am very impressed. I was following all the popular name brand all terrain tires and was this close to buying but I wanted something different. No one was talking about Pirelli because I guess the name didn’t fit the off road scene. Now that snow season is almost over here in Illinois I can tell you that they handle really well in the snow. Never lost control or fish tailed even when I tried. I hit corners hard, punched it at green lights, and braked hard at red lights. They handle really well compared to the factory tires I had on. Now with any tire being brand new the should handle well. It’s when they start to wear down will be the real test. So far it’s all I was looking for. Rugged sidewalk design, quiet ride, great handling in the snow ❄️. Two 👍🏽👍🏽

    What are those rims?

  • @marvindebot3264

Pirelli along with BFG are the originators of the AT concept and both do it very weel however Pirelli look to have perfect the AT that is equally at home on the tarmac.
I use my sedan (VY Commodore, google it) on gravel and dirt roads a lot and I tow close on the vehicle's limit (5000 pounds) pretty regularly on the tarmac so I use the original Scorpian ATX on the back and LT radials on the front. These are the best AT's I have ever fitted so I will safely assume (as many reviews have said) are even better. Their on-road grip is excellent, and their wet on-road grip is nothing short of exceptional giving little or nothing away to the run-of-the-mill road rubber. I am waiting with bated breath to see how much better these new versions are because the old ones are seriously that good giving me grip in circumstances that no 2WD should be capable of dealing with without a diff lock.
BTW, the sidewall tread is helpful without reducing pressure as a sidewall that can grab rate as very useful in ruts giving traction on the walls of the rut.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with yours. So far mine have been great. Make sure that your alignment is good. Never heard anyone say that theses tires made their vehicle drift. I just rotated mine so you can try that to see if it stops the drift or tire pressure. Anyway I appreciate the view. 👍🏽 hopefully once they wear I won’t get the drift you are experiencing.
