Goddamn that's a good song. Goddamn if they all aren't. Unreal and magical levels of songwriting and playing in the studio. Not that this band doesn't slay it live, lol. Just wish they'd add a fiddle player to the touring group. Fiddle is to Billy Strings music as onions are to ogres: it adds layers that aren't present in parfaits.
your wish has been granted, Alex Hargreaves has been with them on tour recently. Fantastic fiddle player. He adds so much texture with his fills and timing. A new sonic element to already vibrant songs.

As a guitar player, I never focus on lyrics. I'm too busy memorizing the melody and chord changes by ear so I can hopefully play it. Lyrics come later, or maybe not at all. Seems like they must be good though, based on comments.
