It's scary to me. He's don't this exact same routine step by step word for word thousands of times. I could never. I have to vary how I do and say things. It just feels awful for me when I am repeating myself robotically or automatically for any significant length of time. In a theater production, it's not even like that. Because there's so many unpredictable varying elements that each performance is new. Until you get to a permanent Broadway cast that's playing the same music and performing the same lines hundreds of times. Then it's like this guy. Clock in, turn off your brain, clock out. Scares the shit out of me. If I'm not not being me, then what am I doing?? But that's me. That's my insecurity.
it's because he tells the same jokes. i love the guy but the material is always the same. this video has some new jokes and you'll notice that that's the few times the crowd engages.
Sour!!! love it. I'm a huge fan of sour, though it's a special art to find the balance of sour that is powerful, but not painful on the teeth. Zours! was the best at this, but it no longer exists. Either way, glad to see sour come into the mix!
It was so satisfying to see the smashing of the trimmed samples on the table and then the collection of the samples. 10/10 excellent explanation, nice crowd engagement, and cool video with great camera work.
When I was a young child, my Grandmother, mother and Aunts would all gather in our kitchen and make batches of hard candy just like this! The actually buttered the table to keep from sticking and as it cooled they'd grab the super hot candy up, snip it and throw the pieces into powdered sugar to cool the rest of the way! I miss those days and those ladies! Great wholesome upbringing!
As a historic interpreter for an Agricultural Museum I feel the pain of this guy occasionally making funny jokes and everyone else just kind of staring silently, it always makes you wonder if it's worth trying to add a little Flair to the exhibit
Dude, I see so many videos of this type on TH-cam of various different people doing what the love for a living, and it always makes me want to try it out for myself
You use this candy base for candy canes & hard candies. Well it can be considered, this is also the base from which sugar wax, is produced. Yes!! For body hair removal! It's sugar, water & a splash of lemon juice, boiled down to a soft ball stage. Then spread upon a flat surface, to cool it, before jarring it up.
I'd be the one going like "no no, I'm serious if you need help just cleaning dish I'd be glad to help" because I appreciate what you do and would love to learn a little more.
You can go to your kitchen and grab a spatula, slam it on the counter and bam, you got yourself the ASMR. You probably can't do his narration on your own.
I get the like of ASMR, but I see so many comments now with explanation videos where the narration is important and always see a, "ugh I wish this was ASMR". What's everyone's fascination with ASMR? literally go outside sometime in the woods and experience ASMR. Trust me, you'll get your fill.
The good ol' ways of the good ol' days is what every town should have instead of the large corporations who most often take over the market due to its greed
I’ll give him one thing - he has incredible perseverance in joke telling. As a dad, I was taking notes.
he's been saying the same lines for 30 years lol even the kids were rolling their eyes
@@tHeXeKuterI’m sure the kids in there with their faces glued to phones. They weren’t even paying attention.

@@b4ds33d Bro you can see the kids they're watching
High Fives!
This man is firing on 6 cylinders with the jokes. What a rough crowd.
it's because he tells the same jokes. i love the guy but the material is always the same. this video has some new jokes and you'll notice that that's the few times the crowd engages.
I usually tend to laugh if the jokes are actually funny...
Man, tough crowd. Dude was brilliant!
Was he?
Crowds are always trash in these videos tbh. Bro is just too rare for normal humans
I enjoyed his dry humor very entertaining
@@juliusseizure5705Yes he was.
@@TehUltimateSnake You right you right
The quickness of the hand was incredible. It's almost like your main job was secondary but telling jokes was the main.
This is all terribly satisfying to watch.
Right? Seeing the long string get busted quickly into the bite sized pieces was extremely satisfying.
I think she thoroughly enjoys slamming the candy Cain samples on the table 😂
That kid watching intently is so relatable.
I’m 28… and that kid is STILL me. I LOVE watching people explain their jobs whilst they do them.

I can’t imagine how good warm fresh candy must be
The best videos are always watching someone do something they truely love doing
As a historic interpreter for an Agricultural Museum I feel the pain of this guy occasionally making funny jokes and everyone else just kind of staring silently, it always makes you wonder if it's worth trying to add a little Flair to the exhibit
Thumbnail made me think I was about to hit a huggggge dab
Man these colors beautiful, very satisfying process to watch. Hard work meets art with a sweet finished product. Well done!
Dude had some fire dad jokes
Dudes making dabs 🤣
Lmfao 100% thought the same thing before I read it, and payed attention 😅
I'm glad I wasn't the only one lol
Lmao.😅 That's what I thought the thumbnail was immediately..
Dude, I see so many videos of this type on TH-cam of various different people doing what the love for a living, and it always makes me want to try it out for myself
I think what he really enjoys doing is making people smile and laugh he’s good candy cane maker to
I found myself smiling the whole video
I’m not big into ASMR but wow was this good ASMR
I laughed at all your jokes out loud
I’m not gonna lie, I thought he was making rosin. Looks delicious either way.
Scooping that delicious pillow candy into the bucket was the most enjoyable part of this video🥰

Beautiful colors!!
Great job!❤😊
this is awesome
Beautiful hand work, so nice to see! 🙌🏼💥

Respect that strength and dexterity

I love the dad jokes " let it go" tough crowd man! I dig It !

These were some top quality dad jokes
I love ribbon candy!!!
Literally a work of art
I love this!!!! He’s such a great story teller and great at his job ❤❤❤
That crowd didn’t deserve you, you gem of a candy man. Clap clap clap 👏
I wish I could be there!! Amazing!
Looks like a fun job
This isn't candy it's an art of melting hearts 🥰 I would visit this shop everyday if I had stayed nearby 😅
It's so satisfying to watch ❣️
Bro this looks delicious. Kudos to the candy maker for the beautiful canes and also for his barrage of jokes.
This guy is awesome!
So cool! Love it :)
All hand made, impressive!
Mükəmməl
That was really cool had never seen hard candy made
Thank you for explaining the steps as you go
Totally satisfying to watch . I’m up north Canada so will never try one and I really want one like right now
I close my eyes and I hear Jim Henson. What a great guy!
The amount of dad jokes was superb
Hes so sweet ☺ i hope all is well💖
Very satisfying
These videos are all identical, but I cannit stop watching them!!! 🤜🤛🙏
i am so sad i live so far away, also the breaking of the candy into bite size pieces is so satisfying.
i dont know whats cooler watching the process or working with your dad
That crusher thing has gotta be the most satisfying thing I've seen in my life!
The dirty dishes joke sent me flying hahaha
I've watched a lot of candy making videos but nobody has ever explained the process which I'm glad he did
Idk what it was but I wish there was an ASMR of the end where the candy maker was pulling those droplets into a bucket, it was so good. :[!
I love how he reuses the same jokes! this is peak dad content and i'm here for it everytime
my favorite candy maker. I just wish we could have these all as ASMRs, no narration.
Some people like the narration.
You can go to your kitchen and grab a spatula, slam it on the counter and bam, you got yourself the ASMR. You probably can't do his narration on your own.
Want me to breathe into the mic and over enunciate every word so it can be ASMR for you ?
I get the like of ASMR, but I see so many comments now with explanation videos where the narration is important and always see a, "ugh I wish this was ASMR". What's everyone's fascination with ASMR? literally go outside sometime in the woods and experience ASMR. Trust me, you'll get your fill.
I could not last for this whole thing in person Id be dying of laughter and cheering, oohing, and ahhing
God bless this man.
I hope the doc talked like this during my children’s birth
Great video!
I'm amazed he never ran out of stuff to say 😂
This video alone has made me want to go to America
I love the ribbon candy. What t 31 flavors get all of them here.😂😂😂😂😂😂
Made for 5 cents, sold for $500
Remove the dollar sign and its facts.
@funkmasternaste2733 that entire slab would definitely be closer to $500, probably more. And the entire slab is made for practically nothing. Rip off.
I dont watch many vids to the end. But this was relaxing
So amazing
She is an absolute hero to listen to those same jokes 10 times a day all winter.
looks like the most beautiful slab of dab ive ever seen 😂😂
i unironically want this job so bad.
Reminds me of my childhood
Amazing 🍭
"nice and white" thats how i like my america too buddy
Those jokes were on point that crowd needs to get better!
Say what u will the man is a showman
This man going pristine punchline to pristine punchline.
The crowd : 😐
Came for the candy, stayed for the jokes😂😂❤
This is so satisfying to watch. My ADHD is loving this.
The candy man can!
Wow ❤❤❤I love this ! Wow ✝️
The good ol' ways of the good ol' days is what every town should have instead of the large corporations who most often take over the market due to its greed
My favorite
That crowd was dead, not even a necromancer could give them life, but those jokes sure did haha
Imagine… it was shatter 💫 😭😭
lol him calling the clearly green tinted part light blue and even sky blue 😂
Id love to eat one while it's still a bit warm
Known fact: talking expels saliva. Talking while stretching candy. Spit-tastic.
Are these how you make the candy canes you get at the store during the holidays or these are special type of candy canes
Work of art and clearly talent. Shame i dont like eating the stuff
Do you make butterscotch discs?
Abby has the COOLEST gloves. God they’re so freakin nice lookin. Also, she’s incredibly cute.
this guy is in the wrong profession, he would make a great stand up comedian that only tells dad jokes!
And now they make more money on youtube than the actual candy store!! 😂
