I just saw this ad. It was played during a meme video, so the humor got me hooked immediately. This is the first time EVER that I've bought something from a TH-cam video. I showed the ad to my amateur artist spouse, and she went gaga over it, so it was an insta-buy. Being totally honest, I have no delusions of being an artist, but I totally want to try it because it's such a cool idea.

What happens if i take this tool away from you? Right, you are lost and you can not draw youself. Just use your brain, your hand and your eye. this is all you need and after a time you learn and can draw free without any extra tool. And really guys this thing had nothing to do with the old masters :)
And it is actually great for training the because practicing perfect makes perfect. Using it over time has a similar effect as exercises like blind contour drawing because it helps you see how to translate a 3D world onto a 2D paper. I'm an artist, my wife is not: it was amazing seeing a light go off in her head after using the LUCY a few times. She started to understand perspective like how the top of a cup is always a flatter oval than you think. Now she is way better then she was before even when not using a LUCY. I've seen this again and again.
