@@KingOfGaymesas someone who also has dyslexia, us making the jokes is usually just a defense mechanism. i don’t think people understand how much it actually affects us though. most people who have dyslexia have been bullied and made fun of for it. whenever we have to read something out loud now, we’ll often make a joke about it first as a way to beat others to it or even just to apologize/explain it. someone being patient and understanding would literally mean so much to us. it’s already difficult for us to deal with, we don’t need everyone else making jokes about it too

I was at a catholic mass and as the priest was blessing us all with the holy water, the ball came off the stick and smoked some old man in his head bowed in prayer about 12 pews away and just dropped him. The old guy was fine but one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Cruel to laugh at I know but I grew up on the three stooges and abbot and Costello so physical comedy will always get me.
