i remember it being 10 years ago…
i was on soundcloud looking for more music by the internet bc i was super into them at the time. one of the most recent tracks on their account at the time was Navy from kilo’s Homeschool EP. i recognized her from the feature she had on PNL & i immediately fell in love w/ her voice and music! i’ve probably listened to Navy & Sick close to 500 times since then. i remember losing my mind laughing at the outro Trappin from K+, i remember being on my way to work the day Across dropped and i bought it on itunes (great summer music since i had just graduated high school). i don’t think apple music existed at the time?
when RRT came out, i def went and showed everyone i know the tracks Existential Crisis Hour! & Self-Importance. even turned a friend of mine into a huge fan. admittedly, i fell off for a while and didn’t listen to MOTHE & REDUX until quarantine but it gave me so much time to digest the music and i loved every second. as i write this, it’s 10 years later and we have American Gurl. it’s crazy to see the evolution of the art, the craft, the sounds, visuals, everything.

I love her music! I was lucky to get to see her at the Demon Dayz concert a few years ago and she was so fun on the stage, I knew some songs before that but it was very different to see/hear live.
