These are actually jujube not dates.

These are not dates from a date tree (i.e. palm) but a jujube fruit that resembles dates when dried.
It is called jujubes or stone apples in english.

the problem with jujube is the insect that get into the fruit. how do you prevent this, by pesticide? or what please, it is major problem, and even spraying once twice is not enough!!!
This jujube is made to grow naturally without pesticides
@@drunkardlee what kind is it? sorry but what do you mean "made" to grow naturally? jujube attract insect, damage it unless get sprayed often, which is No Good.

You are of course correct but these jujube do have a common English name of Chinese date. Eaten raw, they are more like a sweet apple taste and there is a pit but the texture isn't quite like an apple. Dried ones are sweet and for desserts or sweet additions to dishes. I usually see them when they are ripe and reddish in color or dried with a similar color. Ziziphus jujuba is a Latin name people can look up to get a better understanding. 🙂

THEY ARE NOT DATES Dates ... but BER* Ber fruit in English is known as JUJUBE fruit. Indian Ber is known as Indian Jujube, while Jujube fruit is known as Chinese Date in China.

This is not dates, it's one kind of jujube fruit.. dates trees doesn't look like this and their fruits are in bunches..the subtitles kind of misleading the information 😁
These are the jujubes and also known as Chinese Dates / Red Dates Jujubee. You may check at internet, it refer to the same fruit.
There are red dates and black dates. The dried Chinese red dates mostly used in dessert & Chinese herbal medicine.
The dates that you mentioned are dates palm. The dried one normally consumed by Muslim during the month of Ramadan (month of fast).
