There's actually unique dialogue for wearing the Stormcloak Officer Armor as well as wearing Stormcloak or Imperial armor when interacting with guards in a Hold controlled by the opposite faction.
Fun fact, if you wear daedric armor it gives you a hidden intimidation buff, it’s not much but if you somehow have daedric at low level it can help with one of the five speech checks in the game
It would be so great if we could interact with these guards even more. "You like this armor? Here, you can have it." And the guard would be like "W-what? I- I can't pay you." but you would say "You don't have to pay me, just take good care of it." and he would invite you to have dinner with his family, it's the least he can do.

I love these interactions so much. Also stormcloak and imperial guards will react differently if you wear stormcloak and imperial armor, like imperial guards will be upset if you wear stormcloak officer but stormcloak guards will be happy.
This channel has made me realize so much I didn't know about Skyrim. Like how guards react to different armors and weapons. I thought they only reacted to you pulling out a weapon or magic and being naked
To be fair, iron would make much better armor than a sword. Since iron is more brittle, it wouldn't hold an edge as well as steel. But as thicker plates made for protection, it will brush off slashes and thrusts just fine. (Although, the basic iron armor's lack of arm coverage is a bit of a design flaw.)
Not for every type of armor in the game there are dialogues, for example, there are no comments for Elven, Fur, Glass and Daedric armor, masks of dragon priests.

First time I got Ebony armour, it made my day when a guard commented about it. I felt so damn cool haha
Everyone forgetting deadra
Yes also a few other armors but i guess that he used the ones that he had the time to do
Pretty sure they don't have a reaction to daedra armor, sadly.
@@jourcontre-jour1286 they do actually. They comment on how they have no idea what kind of armor you're wearing
No people are forgetting about stalhrim armor 😔 literally can't find a single comment commenting about it.
@@TotallyOwnd well isnt that a dlc? Or wait... im not sure anymore
“Orcish armour, huh? Had me a set of that once. Ugly and strong. Like those who forged it.”
“Excuse you.”
Nightingale: “by the gods! Your armor! It’s like, forged midnight!”
I've worn the thieves guild set in most of my playthroughs so hearing the guards talk about it is almost second nature now
You telling me these Nord guards don't take pot shots at elven armor what the hell.
They hate the Thalmor.
@@kevinkaslana9060 but they don't talk shit about elven armor apparently.
Oh, no. They do. If yoi walk up to a guard wearing full Elven Armor, rhet call you a traitor to the sons of Skyrim.
@@kevinkaslana9060 if you're not a nord they say "nord not good enough for you? Pfft" makes me wish the player had npc commands like you do with horses (stay, follow) and I could mime at him "chill tf out bro"
I'm so happy to see people still doing content about Skyrim!
Check out Major Slack Attack
Seeing reactions to things like this really makes you wonder if there was a faction armor identification system planned in game just like in fallout.
Honestly I love the gaurds more than I should. I love how they basically turn into birds over dragon armor.
In the Thieves Guild armor, he looks like a kid wearing his dad's clothes.
ive spent countless hours days weeks months years playing this game and Ive never payed attention to the guards commenting about your armor or weapon. pretty cool!
We're more use to comments about spells. Last time they were afraid of my dremora conjuration spell.
There's actually unique dialogue for wearing the Stormcloak Officer Armor as well as wearing Stormcloak or Imperial armor when interacting with guards in a Hold controlled by the opposite faction.
Can confirm this info
Fun fact, if you wear daedric armor it gives you a hidden intimidation buff, it’s not much but if you somehow have daedric at low level it can help with one of the five speech checks in the game
"Orcish armour. Had me a set of that once. Ugly and strong, like the one who made it."
Orc character: *Dude I'm standing right in front of you...*
It brings life to me knowing that people still frequently upload Skyrim videos.
"Is that guy wearing Daedric armor? Best not to say a word."
It would be funny if guards had a reaction to you wearing their own armor or asked if you were a new guard.
"What I wouldn't do for a set of that"
What are you doing step stormcloak.
I love the whistle when they see the dragon armour
When the guards have more personality than the named npcs
I like how towards the end it's like they're cat calling you, like : "Hey, nice rear armor got there, strong and sturdy, just how I like it"
For those that dont know, despite daedric not having unique lines it does grants a higher chance for 'intimidation' to work
Awesome Job! I wish there was a choice for Daedric Armor. Like Guards being shocked in astonishment
It would be so great if we could interact with these guards even more. "You like this armor? Here, you can have it." And the guard would be like "W-what? I- I can't pay you." but you would say "You don't have to pay me, just take good care of it." and he would invite you to have dinner with his family, it's the least he can do.
Khahahahhahaha!!!! 😂
Such grand and intoxicating innocence 😊
That would be great
I've been playing skyrim for soooooo long and still learning new things
It’s nice. Either they compliment your armor, warn you about hide’s ineffectiveness, or make observations on the types that usually wear them
Disappointed there is no dialouge for Daedric armour. Imagine..
"How can a man possess the armor of a daedra, let alone wear it?"
The video doesn't cover everything I think. They even react to the mace of Molag Bal , shivering in fear lol
@@saifallahghidhaoui1853 Did you read the description?
They don't talk about the daedric one because it should'nt be on this world they think
@@Dicembree all the more reason for a quote like that.
@@Dicembree that makes no sense whatsoever.
your "logic" is the exact reason they should have quotes on it.
Once had a guard tell me to pick up some new armor at a nearby forge. I was wearing brand new Dragonscale.
One of those radiant raiment ladies told me "if you're going to the blue palace you might want to rethink those rags" I'm a thane elisif likes and I was literally wearing 'extravagant robes' I bought from their shop 🙄 While wearing those robes I walked into their store, the storeowner insulted me again and then asked if I would deliver a specially made garb to elisif. It was just fine robes, more plain than mine
@@explodingplant2 Well, extravagant is not appropriate.
Such a small detail, we wouldn't complain if it wasn't in the game, but they took the time to add it in and it's so cool
These videos are strangely calming.
"What i would do for a set of Armour like that" well... you could find my sweet roll first
Iron Armor: Decent but not bad
Iron Sword: "rUbBiSh!" -4th Doctor
Iron Armour is still a big slab of metal that'll deflect most strikes
Thats because iron swords are the worst swords, theres no leather or fur sword
@@GaGagushtos Well, fur sword is an interesting idea
@@GaGagushtos Are we forgetting the wooden training swords?
@@HunhowsShadowStalker The what ?
Love Your videos
I love these interactions so much. Also stormcloak and imperial guards will react differently if you wear stormcloak and imperial armor, like imperial guards will be upset if you wear stormcloak officer but stormcloak guards will be happy.
This channel has made me realize so much I didn't know about Skyrim. Like how guards react to different armors and weapons. I thought they only reacted to you pulling out a weapon or magic and being naked
Love your videos! I watched a few and I liked them very much!
Guards: "litterly comment any Single thing you do/have"
Also guards when you wear a damn demon armor: *i pretent i didnt see that*
more like: *nervous sweating*
Very good!
Seeing this just made me realize that I jumped from ebony to daedric armor, skipping dragon scale armor entirely 😂
you know you have good armour when the guards catcall you..
Iron sword: "wow what a shit sword lol couldnt hurt a butterfly"
Iron armor: "MMM GOOD ARMOR YES 10/10"
To be fair, iron would make much better armor than a sword. Since iron is more brittle, it wouldn't hold an edge as well as steel. But as thicker plates made for protection, it will brush off slashes and thrusts just fine. (Although, the basic iron armor's lack of arm coverage is a bit of a design flaw.)
@@kck-kck879 damn i wish i could pin replies to my own comments 👌
The guards are too scared to comment on daedric armor
Where's the Deadric Armor?
Not for every type of armor in the game there are dialogues, for example, there are no comments for Elven, Fur, Glass and Daedric armor, masks of dragon priests.
@@TopGameWorld I see, I only known that Deadric Armor boost intimidation. I was expecting npc will get scared to death when worn.
@@TopGameWorld Not true, he says something along the lines "that armor looks like it was forged midnight".
@@Stormvermin-bx1lh it's about Nightingale set :)
@@TopGameWorld No, its not, it only happens when you wear daedric. Try it.
I never knew they did that amazing detail
We needed this
After years there's still stuff to discover in this game. What a masterpiece Skyrim is
Guards when they see you in iron armor: mighty fine armour you've get there.
Guards when they see you with an iron sword: man that shit kinda sucks have you concidered using something better
there is one iron armor line where guards will ridicule its quality.
not the banded. but the basic iron armor.
And this is why I like using Steel weapons. Simple to make, effective and offer some beginner protection from many enemies.
I want at least 500 sets of armor in the new elder scrolls with 1000+ of reactions/interactions with the guards and peoples, 200+ high level ones that i can use till end game, i want my own identity on my armors. Games like elder scroll the more the variety the more filled (the world is) the better
I honestly love the guards, they're just so much fun
Glad I’m not the only one that thinks that 😄
I love when they do the "wheew" whistle of admiration
