Need to escape the heat once again? The Mavic 3 Classic captures its first Massachusetts beach: Nahant Beach on the North Shore to the folks familiar with the area. This beach adds to Plum Island, Horseneck, Nantasket, and Salisbury. Next footage heads up the North Shore..... What is your favorite beach? 😎

Great views! I was going to say you should have come on a day without the algae, but the patterns in the water were pretty striking at times. I hadn't realized they were there, or so extensive. If you do it again, down at the other end of the causeway the water is usually much clearer. 🏄

@@TeBeProductions I would recommend singing beach in Manchester-by-the-sea. Or the back shore where Good Harbor Beach is in Gloucester. Both beautiful areas to film!

Great footage. The brown algae is Pilayella. I believe it is stimulated by the outfall of the Lynn Sewer plant which discharges about 30 MGD off Revere Beach. The plant is well run but there isnt enough circulation in Broad Sound to get rid of the nitrogen all the time.
