足利 「鑁阿寺（ばんなじ）」

栃木県足利市。鎌倉時代の武士の館の面影を残す鑁阿寺（ばんなじ）は、かつて足利氏の居館がありました。足利氏の氏寺となった鑁阿寺の本堂は国宝に指定されており、大日如来が祀られています。

Bannaji Temple in Ashikaga City was founded by Yoshikane Ashikaga. The site was originally a residence of Ashikaga family and was changed to the temple at a later date. The temple maintains the buildings constructed as early as Kamakura Era.
