I have many of the best ever made cameras but the RTS ii is probably the one I have more fun to shoot. Same level as a Nikon f3 but with a Porsche design finesse. Such a
I just purchased a second RTS; my first one's electronics died after about a year of use. I do not believe that there are repair parts or people able to restore their functon. I look forward to using the body and the three Zeiss lenses I bought with the first RTS and hope it remains reliable, if not I can still use the 167MT. Thank you for the interesting information.
You can find people who will repair them, the spares are an issue, sometimes it requires a donor camera. I think my RTS II may have been repaired using a donor camera. I know that my RTS and RTS Fundus, are made from 3 different bodies. I only found out one was a fundus, when the repairer pointed out that some of the bits from one of the cameras did not fit the others.
I’ve never used this model but I have the III. This is a very nice and informative video for anyone looking to get this!
Thanks, Does your viewfinder still light up.
@@contaxpaulharrison942 Not sure haven’t used the camera in about a year! I’ll check it later and report back.
@@contaxpaulharrison942 Mine LEDs are still working.
ATG is one of the few people that can still repair these cameras.
