Sick of people saying "Most people won't do this job in Britain".... Boston is full of unemployed white British locals and immigrants keep wages down. Longer waiting list to see doctor, shortage of housing, low wages, rising unemployement

There's always two sides to every story. I lived in a very multicultural part of the UK for many years and it was fine. People were friendly and we all got on well. I decided for a change and purchased a significant property in a mainly white area. No one wants to even look my way( I'm Asian ) . Their dogs growl aggressively at me so I'm forever crossing the roads to avoid their dogs. No one wants to talk to me. Even shop staff rarely can be bothered to say hello. Nothing. Hardly 2 attractive women women in the entire town whereas in my previous town there was too many! People in this town speak about lack of integration? Always blaming others they cannot understand and don't want them in their towns. I'll be looking in the future to towns were there are Indians, Turks, Iranians, Algerians, Somali....and so on. They make me feel welcome and valued. British people should look at themselves before blaming others. Of course they are allowed their views. I'd rather just be told your not welcome here. That would save a lot of grief. They are often racist but pretend to be opposed to it. They certainly don't fool me or many other colored people in the UK. Now I see why minority groups stick together. I previously believed were are all one. I've learned that to deal with such people is easy.....just ignore them and not to expect anything pleasant from them. And they are so incredibly jealous if you appear to have money.

Not everything's about you. Don't be so self entitled and selfish to move here (especially a mainly white area) and then say that British people are the problem because we "don't interact". Well give us a moment, ever think we don't interact because we are unhappy with the shift in values? When we're expected to accept the replacement and if we don't you call us xenophobic or whatever else. Ever take in consideration of the indigenous locals here and how THEY feel about seeing the change in cultural values and how there is no longer a tight knit community? You can come here and buy a house in a mainly white area but don't expect to not have any blacklash from us English when you do! The reason why we have become so stiff and maybe "don't want to look your way" is because of the fact that you expect us to be complacent in the fact that we are being replaced. Get my point?

None of you would work at the worst wearhouses for National minimum. Of course not everyone is doin good job, but most of us want to live normaly as you would like to.
we appreciate that in this country you can earn and live normally. but very often you forget about the fact that foreigners very often also bring big benefits for this country. This comment is not meant to upset anyone, just to put things from a different perspective.

Poles brought a lot to this country but they were also exploited... other immigrants had poor housing, poor gangmaster jobs etc. Its not the way you are painting it. And the borders, language, and culture of England and Britain changed from the days of Shakespeare and Chaucer, the Norman times, and Beowulf, to the point that you have no basis to say your own preserved English culture is any more preserved than the potential evolution of a futuristic UK with more mixed immigrant cultures comprising it. You need to learn to embrace your new immigrant people if you want them to ‘assimilate’ as you say, you need to recognize their existence and treat them like neighbours. Otherwise it’s a double-edged sword. The more you treat them (immigrants) as foreign, the less you will be able to do to instill the values you grew up with onto the people who are now as British as you are.
