So for all the guys out there that let a pro shop tell them to use a larger d-loop on their string to get that extra 1/2 inch of draw length, you’re cheating yourself out of about 5ft/second make them set your draw length to fit you instead of them being lazy and taking the easy way out. (Of course the 5ft/second depends on your individual bow). Another great video…keep them coming!
You’re exactly right! Put the correct draw mod in to maximize the bow’s capabilities! Thanks again, I appreciate you sticking around for this one and the kind words!
LOL, I took screen caps of each draw length. Crazy how the cam gets deeper and deeper into the power stroke. It would be nice if a manufacture would design cams that would roll over like that for shorter draw length people.
I definitely put in some time making this video but I'm here to give knowledge to people just like you! I just need to grow this channel so it can reach more people! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it! 😃
Just watched a video before this, saw you responded to a comment that mentioned this. You said you’d do a video on it. Then followed through. +1 sub from me
@@farmsteadoutdoors yea I am curious if the cams are still pretty fast at the low end of draw weight since they build all the mods to be one off for maximum efficiency
@@pennyontrack you’re exactly right! Obviously lower poundage will decrease speed but if you have a longer draw that’s definitely going to help out more. What is your draw length? I should be able to get you some specs if you let me know.
This is a great video idea. I really need to get myself a chrono. I shoot some older Mathews bows and have no idea what my actual speed is. Always thought they were pretty slow but my draw is 30" so maybe not as bad as I thought. Lol
Having a longer draw at 30" is definitely helping you out with the speed so you're probably getting faster speeds than you think but that new Garmin chronograph is super nice and easy to use! I highly recommend picking one up if you're serious about getting the speeds of your bows and even firearms. Thanks for checking out the video!

We might be in luck for 2025 Mathews bows 🤞🏼
Pay attention to the cam roll over from short to long draw length
You make a great point there!
Would love this same video with the Lift 33 and 350g grain arrows. Maybe 60lbs to 👀
That's a great idea! Maybe I'll come out with that in the near future here, thanks for watching! 😃
Dang dude... that's a lot of mod switching to make this video. Nice job.

Thanks for watching the videos and also a HUGE thanks for subscribing! 😀
Thanks. Would be so curious to see this done with 55 lbs mods
Thanks for watching! That might be a good idea for another video, thanks for the idea 😃
