exactly, i just ordered mine today, and had a few seconds of meltdown which one too choose, but at the and my brain won, and space grey looks badass too, midnight was tempting tho because its something new
I think the appeal of the midnight Mac, for me, was its novelty and of course, I cannot resist darker colours, it feels more sleek somehow. But they didn't have it in stock so I got the space grey - so glad I did. It's just a classic. So smart looking and easy to keep clean. Had no idea about the fingerprint aspect so I suppose I dodged a bullet there. I'm also no fan of how little contrast there is between the black keyboard and the dark colour of the midnight. It all ends up looking like a great big blurb, and especially looks tacky with the keyboard lit up.
This midnight color is always sold out took me 2 trip to my local Apple Store to get this and yes finger print magnet and so does the space gray but in honesty I got so much compliments and they know this is the M2 MacBook Air because of the exclusive color way without people mistaken that this is the M1 MacBook Air which is older model. But at the end of the day it is all personal preference in color either color is always a good choice. This is the reason why I made a unboxing/review video on electronic because some of us doesn't have time to go to Apple Store or any other electronic store when you can conveniently sit at home use your mobile phone, tv or computer to go on TH-cam and watch a video like mine before you buy the product 🤗 I hope you get the best pricing I know when I bought this I got $150 Apple gift card with my purchase which equal to $1049.99 and also I notice Costco selling it online at $1049.99 now days with $150 off original price which the coupon come and go. Lighting seems to make such a huge difference. For example, I have never seen a Midnight in really life, but I have seen countless Space Grey in the classroom. In your video, the Midnight looks like every Space Grey machine I've seen, and the Space Grey in your video looks like a Grey Macbook.

I recently bought Midnight colour... It's soo cool and nice but the thing is it's black in low light and the Apple logo is also not visible much in low light due to dark colour of the mac.

Everyone complaining about finger prints is ridiculous lol people it’s not a vase or mirror it’s a piece of tech that’s Ment to be handled and used . after your done wipe it down clean an bam brand new again 🙄😂
This is a hard one. I absolutely love the look of midnight, but my brain is saying space grey. Because everybody says that midnight picks up fingerprints really easily. This video was really helpful though.

midnight attracts fingerprints so easily the salesperson advised me against it. He said he had to clean it just about every time someone touches it. Space Grey changes colour under different lights from silvery ish to a dark greenish tone which I find super cool.
Space Grey is definitely the move. I saw the midnight color at best buy and it was so disgusting it had too many fingerprints and you could see the grease.🤢🤮
I hear this a lot. It's weird because I don't understand why anyone would care about fingerprints on a laptop. I am so tired of looking at silver/space gray and black keys. I mean it's a really old design. My laptop for work is black on black and I have fingerprints on it. It doesn't bother me at all so I'm leaning towards Midnight. Maybe I can get it at a discount if it's a low seller due to it attracting fingerprints😁

Space Grey is sleeker and more beautiful. Midnight is tacky and gets smudgy.

yes. With the metallic colors scratches look more natural / less noticable.
