And the UP heritage units are finally here!!!! I dont know which one to pick. The best paint job I would say is Western Pacific. I like the feathers that go across the 2 sides and on the roof. Well Done! Makes me think about my high school ceramic Cuminating task before exams in Grade 11. Those UP heritage engines will look good on an intermodal train. I can tell!

Every time I see one of those Athearn boxes and I know it’s mine, I get so excited, and then opening it and removing the little cover inside revealing the loco in the clear plastic. Unboxing any model train will get your guts tingling and your heart beating, you will be smiling the entire time. Hey I bought 2 of these today, a Heritage unit which came with The spare roof, and Norfolk southern "Horsehead" which did NOT have the spare roof. Does the spare roof ONLY come with the heritage units? I will bring mine back if it is supposed to come with a spare roof and get another. Thanks in advance.
Can the new cab roofs be ordered separately for specific UP heritage motors already painted? I know they have them available undecorated but it would be dumb if they're only including them with the new run, also, I dont remember the separate sanding hoses is this a latest run thing too?

You know how you said you were pulling back and do fewer reviews, these engines could of be done as a side note on something really new. A new antenna array???? just not worth a full review.
Yes it is,but it has a higher MSRP so it has to be better.So when they say it is discounted it means that it really is and your paying a lot less.So that makes it more value for less detail, even with the wrong cab on all the Bachmann sd70ace's for NS heritage diesels. It makes them more valuable ,because it is a Major mistake by them.They make it easy to change the wrong cab on them since they are separate part from the main shell held on by 2 screws.Iwonder if they will ever put the correct Isolated cab on them? Or just make the Iso cab .That way you can put either on the shell to make what railroad you want.

Just got UP 1982 & 1983 with LED Tsunami2 and standard PTC roof this is their 3rd run of UP heritage
