Looks like a cool little trail, I've been meaning to do something similar myself at Wilbinga for a weekend trip. Also, because of your low profile tyres (low profile is relative here) I highly recommend going down to 10-12psi, as long as you don't turn too sharp you probably wont de-bead but it makes a huge difference on real soft sand. I was at the Yeagerup dunes a couple weeks ago and some people had to go down to single digit air pressure.
Was good fun! I was around 14/15! But I probably should have gone lower part way into the track! I’ve driven with all terrains my whole life and this is my first set of muddies and I’m quickly realising how bad they are for sand
@@DarrenBoxhall yeh I was at 15, but I’ve got soooo much camping stuff weighing the back down/making me not want to go much faster and break anything! I’ll be going for round 2 after I strip the camping setup off!
Buddy. Tyre pressure too hard for that kind of sand. Here in middle east, we are at 13 to 15 PSI tyre presure climbing sand dunes. try it, you'll notice difference. you need momentum too.
Ay @CoreyKirwen maybe go as low as 10-12psi you need to find the sweet spot for sand. Once you get it right will give you more confidence and stability!
Must say those little diesels really do struggle on sand. Cand hear them bogging down in higher rpms. My 4l petrol loves to get up and go. But obviously ive got less torque
Used to go out there all the time. Too many FWD f$ckwitts now days. Clowns taking crests and blind corners flat out etc. Cool clip though mate, great area.

As a guy from northern suburbs I love seeing this place getting covered, really fun to recognise all the places you go in this video!
@@roobdio thanks legend! So sick of only seeing stuff from the east coast!
Similar thing happened to me doing seabird to moore river. Was a nightmare, so soft!
Awesome video. Subscribed 👍👍

Thanks man! But I’m running 15/14 all round in this video! I think the muddys are not helping ahaha acting like little shovels
@@CoreyKirwen using shovel sometimes is good for exercise though lol. Be safe and enjoy out there.

Muddy work well in sand if your tyre pressure is low enough.
I run my muddy at 10 to 12 at Wilbinga
Been in Perth near 4 years now and still haven't checked out wilbinga
@@Ausskip87 it’s such a fun day trip!
Solo's the go down south west doing this, irecon wilbingas a bit tuffer. Soild task,
@@Digbite good fun though!!
Should do a peston beach 4x4 meet up bro
Straight to 10psi bro even with the weight in the rear. I used to go there in my jimny 5psi all round no worries. Never got bogged
Ahaha how good is a jimny, little go carts ahah
Love this place, shame it gets so much litter left around!
It’s so frustrating, cause it’s a sick spot, but people just stuff it up for everyone
What are the actual soecs of the truck? Tire and lift lit etc etc
Love your content bro
Thanks legend! It’s only got a 2” lift 285/70r/17’s and a 2021 Mazda bt50
Great video, but be careful using your brakes when reversing down the dunes, that’s what made you go sideways
Love the way content mate 🤙🏻

Keen to try this track you’ve made next time I am in WA. Looks like a heap of fun.
Thank you! Let me know how you go!
